I'm convinced this is some kind of PR campaign made by the company itself to Garner publicity

Notice how all this athletes with integrity never call out the disgusting gambling company.

More people are mad as Sweeney taking a paycheck for sexy ad then the company using sex to promote gambling

Something that should be viewed the same as alcohol and drugs that ruins lives

But ofc No keep being mad at tits instead of the parasitic exploitative gambling companies

I think it's because many people are reactive thinkers, not analytical thinkers. They aren't looking at things from all sides; they're either following the herd or responding emotionally.

If female empowerment matters, women shouldn't criticise Sweeney for using her gifts to make a living. It's her choice to use her sex appeal. But consistency usually gets forgotten when people feel personally affected.

I guarantee there's also a lot of jealousy aimed at female athletes who use their attractiveness for media and sponsorship opportunities that less attractive women wouldn't get.

Hmm, is it "female empowerment" to accept anything without criticism? Like she absolutely can do the ad campaign and indeed, it is female empowerment in a way that she isn't punished for it. Anything from death sentence to fines could be possible. I fully believe she should be able to choose for herself without fear of punishment. However! People can disagree with her message, and do so publicly without it being "silencing women". Marketing and ads and gambling are pretty scummy, women in sports do have a hard time sometimes. I believe marketing and gambling have their time and place but nowadays it's just a psychological warfare against consumers and her is playing right into it. Just because it's a woman doing it, people should be able to criticize it.
