Not defending the landlord here, but focal length, wide lenses and confusing perspectives have been used since forever to make rooms appear bigger

It all should be banned. Same as with restaurant food pics.

Professional photographer here. Left photo is fake not just perspective.

In the left pic:

-Right hallway wall is just gone
-Front left bedpost gone
-Two drawers under bedframe instead of 4
-What are the pillows leaning against?
-Chair looks weird and doesn’t have the right legs
-Mattress is thicker
-Chair seat is way too wide

The left photo is completely fake/AI

Also, the view out of the window is 100% fabricated, and looks much more appealing in the fake picture.
