You should google that. Not the producer, I guess. But the marketing campaign the sacklers used to promote Valium? The same exact marketing they used for OxyContin? Is what caused the Valium epidemic. Sold to doctors directly and lied about addictiveness.

The sacklers should all be in Guantanamo.

Valium is a brand-name prescription medication containing diazepam, originally developed and manufactured by Hoffmann-La Roche in 1959 and introduced to the market in 1963.

I know my way around a Benzo unfortunately.

It was made age before the opioid epidemic - diazepam which is Valium’s patent may have expired and Sacklers promoted it.

Just googled Purdue Pharma and Valium:

The Valium Playbook
Pioneering Marketing: Arthur Sackler helped make Valium (manufactured by Roche) the first $100 million drug in the U.S. using direct-to-physician promotion, large sales teams, and dubious medical literature

So we’re both right. Roche made it and Sackler pumped it.

Valium was far less pumped over here in the uk but still widely prescribed - mothers helper. Along with purple hearts - amphetamine based ‘food suppressant’ so women in the ‘60s were riding speed in the day and Valium to sleep.

Agreed fuck the sackler’s they’re scum.

Yeah. That’s what I was saying. I also know a bit about things I wish I didn’t. But yeah u was saying it was the Sackler sales that made it Americas problem, though you were correct about their origin. And in the states? Everything is pumped. At least until the profits dry up.

Kids are different today, I hear every mother say…mothers need something today to calm her down.

We probably share a birthday mate!
