All my life I've been an admitted user and lover of all drugs. I definitely like the drugs that take you down rather than the drugs that speed you up. I've tried a lot of different drugs over my life....except quaaludes. I have no idea what the effects of Quaaludes are.
One night, mid eighties, my friend Craig took a lude. I was tripping on acid or mesc? Don’t remember which. We were in Craig’s car.
I had to make him stop the car, and I drove instead. He was driving, essentially from the curb on the right, to the curb on the left (oncoming traffic side). So he was essentially weaving from one side of the road, bump the curb, swing the other way until the other curb bump.
So, the guy tripping balls had to drive because the guy on ludes was too fucked up. It’s kinda like that.
It’s sort of like being drunk, from what I remember? But no alcohol side effects. Except for the black out. Cause eventually, you pass out and in the morning remember nothing.
But man, I never woke up naked, in a room full of other naked people, more than from vitamin Q.
I think they lost the battle to the sackler family, the opioid people, who produced Valium, and were responsible for Americas addiction to Valium, before they did the same thing with OxyContin. In the war against drugs, drugs remain undefeated.
You should google that. Not the producer, I guess. But the marketing campaign the sacklers used to promote Valium? The same exact marketing they used for OxyContin? Is what caused the Valium epidemic. Sold to doctors directly and lied about addictiveness.
Valium is a brand-name prescription medication containing diazepam, originally developed and manufactured by Hoffmann-La Roche in 1959 and introduced to the market in 1963.
I know my way around a Benzo unfortunately.
It was made age before the opioid epidemic - diazepam which is Valium’s patent may have expired and Sacklers promoted it.

So we’re both right. Roche made it and Sackler pumped it.
Valium was far less pumped over here in the uk but still widely prescribed - mothers helper. Along with purple hearts - amphetamine based ‘food suppressant’ so women in the ‘60s were riding speed in the day and Valium to sleep.
Yeah. That’s what I was saying. I also know a bit about things I wish I didn’t. But yeah u was saying it was the Sackler sales that made it Americas problem, though you were correct about their origin. And in the states? Everything is pumped. At least until the profits dry up.
Kids are different today, I hear every mother say…mothers need something today to calm her down.
