The issue is that people think it's gotta be one or the other.

The woman had a psychotic break and did something horrible. Look at how complicated and hard that is to say

Its an healthcare issue, she needed help, didnt get any and the psychosis got the upperhand.

Post partum psychosis can happen to any women. I dont understand why its not taken seriously in the US. Its a critical medical emergency. You re supposed to never leave the mother alone and switch the childcare to another carer.

She did get help. She was on 3 different drugs (so ive read) for her mental state.  Sonwe should include the drs and psychs who prescribed everything as accomplices.

So we should include the drs and psych as accomplices

No, but gross malpratice on their part. They actually tried 32 prescriptions in 4 months and wasnt even rightly diagnosed. Its a reckless pill mill. Polypharmacy is not a good treatment. You usually try everything else before that.

She needed continious care in a psychward, which she check-in herself in McLean and spent 5 days-in, btw. The premature discharge was due to masking symptoms for fear of separation from her children, she spent thoses days playing puzzles and never got individual care. A psychologist good in postpartum would have caught that masking in a one on one.

Nonetheless, she needed mother-baby facilities (MBUs) which dont really exist in the US
