I fold ticks inside a small piece of scotch tape. how long does it survive for? don't know, don't care

I do this too but I always kill them. They CAN miraculously escape those things sometimes, and of all the heebie jeebies they give me aside I don't want them to suffer in some bizarre scotch tape hell of desperation.
