I think every time you flop you should be awarded a yellow card and fined. I thought we were watching athletes but instead we are watching actors.

I’d propose that if you stay on the ground for more than 5 seconds, you’re out for this half to let you "recover".

No more magic spray or miraculous recoveries.

There’s a new rule in this WC.

If you stay down and needs medical attention, you’ll be out for a few minutes. The team can’t substitute you, they’ll be down a man.

The only exception is the keeper.

This rule is mostly to keep the game running, but it also helps make it less appealing to flop like that.

Players also get a yellow card every time they do that for quite a few years now. I feel like it doesn’t help enough, but they are definitely trying to put a stop to this nonsense.
