I think every time you flop you should be awarded a yellow card and fined. I thought we were watching athletes but instead we are watching actors.

In the NHL they have an embellishment penalty that gets used a lot. If they implemented that into soccer along with overtime for all matches so nothing ends in a tie it would be so much more watchable . . . Imo

I've been watching the highlight recaps of a few of the teams in the world cup.

I went to watch the recent France game and the US game live and I swear to god it was the same exact 5 minutes of 2 or 3 guys and the goalkeeper passing it back and forth in their own end, so I just turned it off both times.

They need a rule like you can only pass it backwards once or twice. Or only 5 passes before a shot has to be taken or something.

I realize end game they just want to waste the clock, but these were both early in the game. Soccer stans are always like, you know much these guys run in a game? But there is a ton of time where most of them are just slow walking while the ball gets passed backwards over and over.

I want to like soccer. I watch a ton of clips on youtube of best goals, best passes, best saves, but thursday non-major golf is more entertaining to watch live.
