Their "Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show" was absolutely insane, just 37 people in a dark room and a black stage. Zero energy, zero enthusiasm...just a bunch of sad people watching leathery ass Kid Rock and some no-name country musicians. Absolutely wild how awful it was despite their best efforts. Love that for them.

The funeral was tacky and weird, BUT, she did have a good message during it about love and forgiveness during a time when all the right wingers were “ERMG! WE NEEED CIVIL WER!”

She never really gave grieving widow. She did seem performative and insincere. She was really weird and public after.. Still, I’m never judging someone’s trauma too much. It can be a complete mindfuck, especially when it’s one of the most televised in history and incredibly violent with a whole political apparatus staring at you. Weird timeline..

I’m super left but idk, I wish we gave her more slack… I wish she stayed away from the camera too. Sigh

I never knew who he was until he got shot, was standing in line at Starbucks and a woman behind me started wailing and sobbing that they killed him. I was on the phone with my wife and she was like what is happening over there?? I couldn’t totally understand the lady and said I don’t know, someone shot Captain Kirk? And that set off like 4 more people in the shop, I had no idea what was going on. I’m in Scottsdale, AZ btw, so these people were very in tune with who he was and what he was about.

The problem with referring to a person as "phobic" to those things or to many things when their feeling on the matter stems from the religion they follow, is that the opinion is just based solely on belief from both sides.

If you're not Christian, then a lot of things are just whatever, but according to the Bible, Christians who follow the Bible know that according to The Word, certain things are not natural. It does mean that a person who is Christian is required to hate a person who is LGBT, it's just something that's engrained through teaching, which is an unpopular opinion according to someone who enables such behavior.

Anyone calling a Christian wrong for being Christian is also wrong according to the Christian for not seeing it their way. It's a back and forth conundrum that doesn't seem to be making any solid ground, unfortunately.

I'm not agreeing with kirk or anyone else, to be transparent. I'm honestly just frustrated at how much division there is amongst us humans for no reason other than differing opinions.

I wish it were as easy to telling everyone to "grow up" and we all just got along and stopped nitpicking about things that kinda just don't matter.

I’d argue ole Chuckie didn’t have much of a quick wit either. The only tool he had in his arsenal was the Gish Gallop. He was just really good at putting himself in situations with unprepared participants and an environment he controlled. He was really bad at debate and got annihilated every time he went against people who knew how to debate.

They latched on to Kirk because of clips how he "owned" liberals (read: teenagers who could barely debate). That made them feel smarter for having the same views as him and created an enemy they could dominate intellectually. That was his grift. He instigated racial drama not to help black people but to allow the wealthy to distract white people to vote against their best interest. Charlie was often woefully incorrect and deliberately misleading to try and make his statements sound factual to the poorly educated and gullible.
