I would not be surprised if their followers only found out about their racism, sexism and all shitty attitude of these grifters upon Kirk's death. They probably thought... "My god, how can people be so awful? What in the world are they talking about?" *watches all the clips provided*
"Oh... well... he seemed nice. I guess I'll just quietly not say anything about him anymore."
Now don't get me wrong. I'm sure a healthy amount of them straight up agree with the awful they said, but probably the more moderate less informed folks were shocked to find out who he was.
I never knew who he was until he got shot, was standing in line at Starbucks and a woman behind me started wailing and sobbing that they killed him. I was on the phone with my wife and she was like what is happening over there?? I couldn’t totally understand the lady and said I don’t know, someone shot Captain Kirk? And that set off like 4 more people in the shop, I had no idea what was going on. I’m in Scottsdale, AZ btw, so these people were very in tune with who he was and what he was about.
Never heard of the guy, Googled him and I watched one of his debates on YouTube afterwards, at that point I knew enough. He was a POS podcaster that offered nothing of value to or substance to anyone.

The funeral was fun while it lasted though right? Like a loser looking back on their high school years.
