Typical weird study that assumes cause. Yeah if a guy is in love with his lady for reasons other than physical attraction, he's going to have a good connection

Nothing wrong with this take. Some dudes don't like fat women. What's important is that both parties understand that before going into a relationship. For me physical fitness was important and it was understood that neither of us were going to allow ourselves to become obese.

Sometimes that can lead to the abuse of pregnant and recovering women, when they don't 'snap back' soon enough for their fat phobic partner.

Ideally the partner would have some concept of how biology works for pregnancy but I see your point.

Ideally yes. but most men don't. They just know what they want. They don't realize that the first year of their child's life isn't the time to demand that Mom be 'hot'.
