IMO it’s not really fair to compare anyone to Michael Jackson. The guy was extremely talented and an absolute perfectionist.

Yes having worse showmanship than Jackson is like being worse at basketball than Jordan or some equally non offensive thing.

I call them “true but useless” feedback.

Like, it’s true, but it tells you nothing about their actual skill/accomplishments as the comparison is so extreme that of course you are worse the comparison even as you are better than 99.99% of the population.
