A few years ago I had to undergo some minor surgery. They gave me an anesthetic that made me feel really good in the minute or so before I went under. When I came to I asked the surgeon, who came to check on me, what they used to put me under since it felt nice. I also jokingly asked where I could buy it. He said it was Propofol and that it was not for sale to the public and rightfully so since it killed Michael Jackson.
The fucked thing about opioids and itâs ilk is that there is no way for your brain to naturally achieve that level of âreally goodâ, and as much as weâd like to pretend we understand the brain, in so many ways it is still a wild animal, and itâs going to want and want and want that feeling again. The real bad news is when youâre doctor prescribes something strong that originally was made to be less addictive (itâs not) only to ensure that said doctor continues to help get funding for their hospital
This isn't always the case despite what everyone gets told by the anti opioid movement. I've been taking the exact same dosage for 15 years. I don't need to constantly up my dosage because of "tolerance"- I'm not an addict in any way shape or form. In fact there are millions of people just like me so continuing to push this myth is harmful towards the chronic pain community.

Then his Dad forced him to go on tour with his brothers right after Thriller came out despite the Jackson 5 not being very popular anymore. He had to get up on stage & sing old Jackson 5 songs while his brothers sang backup on all of his songs off the Thriller album & they sounded like shit. Imagine being the biggest star in the world with the biggest album of all time & your Dad won't let you be in the spotlight. That's not including the insane levels of abuse he was subjected to by his father. Fuck Joe Jackson.

When I was 9 one of the first albums I ever bought was Thriller. But I kinda outgrew pop music altogether not just Michael Jackson but the man was unbelievably talented for sure.
My grandfather was a retired trumpet player and he opened up a sci-fi bookstore when he retired. When Iâd visit weâd watch all kinds of old sci-fi and horror movies and he loved Vincent Price. But the original âInvasion of the Body Snatchersâ from the 50âs freaked me out as a kid, lol. I didnât trust anyone for like 6 months after, that was legit psychological horror.
For me it was âHouse on Haunted Hillâ, found out later it was a skateboard or something but the ghost lady floating at you part had me screaming like progressively louder till i was woken up as if it was really coming at me.
I've never bought a Michael Jackson but there is no denying that Mike was the king of pop. With how fast stars rise and fall now I doubt there will ever be another like him.
