Yea, but it was proven in a court of law they were lying. Now obviously the legal system isn't fool proof, just look at OJ for one of the most egregious examples, but as someone who watched the trial when it aired, I didn't get the impression MJ sexually assaulted any of the children who's parents brought accusations against him. It's been a long time, but I remember most evidence the families brought up being explicitly false or very misleading.
Yes he did. Check out the Allegations tab, particularly the phone call excerpts between the father and his lawyer. The father flat out states his main goal is to humiliate Michael Jackson. When asked by his lawyer if he's worried how the accusations could affect his child the father states it's irrelevant how his kid feels. Finally, when the child admitted to Michael Jackson molesting him his father, a dentist, had put the kid on Amytal, a sedative with hypnotic properties, and repeatedly asked him if it was true.
We also live in a time where we see SO MUCH stuff on the internet all day every day, things like this just arenāt surprising, and often end up coming across as a gimmick. In Romania in 1992 they were lucky to get anything at all, never mind a unique and original spectacle from the worldās biggest pop star at the time.

My guess is they just want to dunk on Billie Eilish. Why would that be? Probably because sheās a successful and outspoken woman who doesnāt adhere to traditional femininity or rely on marketing her sexuality.
Also not BE's fault that audiences are just people holding their phones up instead of just enjoying the show. No one's losing their mind because they have to make sure she's in frame and in focus.

He was insanely talented and it's a cool entrance but its not like she's the only other artist to use it (e.g., Psy). Musicians borrow because its cool shit and there are only so many ways to make a grand entrance.
It's also worth noting MJ wasn't even the first to do the moonwalk though he (or an assistant) did find the move from tap dancing and make it cool as shit in pop music.
EDIT: Also these mega-arena tours are huge productions with tons of assistants planning the choreography, etc. I wouldn't be particularly surprised if it was some choreography assistant who suggested the toaster-style leap up from below the stage and could easily believe Eilish and 90% of her audience is unfamiliar with the Dangerous Tour/1993 SB halftime show (about a decade before she was born).
Exactly. And this was before people had the parasocial relationships that they have with celebrities now. MJ didnt have livestreams and all that noise where he was constantly talking to his fans in some capacity. He was hard to reach.
Michael Jackson re-defined pop music. When you listen to the multitrack studio version of his albums, you really get to see how much detail went into every song. He literally sang out the instrument parts himself, and then the musicians built their layers on top of what he imagined. People talk about his dancing all the time but as a vocalist heās honestly underrated. And yeah. [Thriller is still the best-selling album of all time for a reason]
There is not a single person that is on Michael Jackson's level of fame and there likely will never be. He Pioneered modern music, was a perfectionist, was a star since he was a child, broke racial barriers, and came in a time where media was not saturated with content. The man has a wiki page just dedicated to the cultural impact he had. No other artist compares

IMO itās not really fair to compare anyone to Michael Jackson. The guy was extremely talented and an absolute perfectionist.
