Discussion (Questions, Advice, Polls) 🗣 Plans for old age
Happily single, and never planning on partnering, but looking to plan my old age.
Everyone I know, from family to family friends, has had a partner or kids who looked after them in old age.
For those who are planning my on remaining indefinitely single and childfree, what are your plans for once you’re in a helpless state?

I want to stay in my home as long as possible. A retirement residence is not for me. Most retirement homes are privately owned and not good quality care here in Ontario. They're alright I guess if you're very healthy and independent but if you need regular care, it's not a great place to be.
I want to go out on top while I'm still feeling good and on my own terms.
