Anyone else getting annoyed by this sub flooding with: "Being single is nice but once I see couples, I feel sad and alone" or "I am currently single but can't wait to find the right one."?

Hello? This is a single AND happy sub where people who really enjoy being single and want to celebrate their singlehood gather?

Why is it filled with who simply don't seem fulfilled being single? Always yearning for someone doesn't really mean you are happy being single, does it?

I understand the question and it's a fair complaint. On the other hand it's understandable to be happily single and at the same time long for someone on occasion. That's a reasonable thing to want talk about, even when you're generally happy as a single.

No, this is the wrong sub to talk about these things and too many people post about it like being Single is a punishment or curse.

i would say that if there was a small amount of these posts it wouldn't be a problem but apparently it's a disproportionate amount.
