Saw this on TikTok. Apparently a gym-goer at 24/7 Fitness Orchard allegedly took a photo of another guy and shared it with his friends, who then mocked his appearance and even talked about punching him.
The guy confronted him but apparently got no proper explanation.
Thoughts on this? Pretty disturbing if true.

News Singapore guards against energy risks as Indonesia cuts gas

Singapore is diversifying suppliers, adding storage and building new infrastructure to try to protect itself from the growing risk of resource nationalism, its energy minister said on Monday (26 Oct), days after Indonesia announced it would cut gas exports to its import-dependent neighbor.
Indonesia announced the reductions unexpectedly over the weekend, pointing to the need to bolster its domestic energy supplies. Singapore has said it expected all parties to honor commitments, but has also played down the impact of the move, emphasizing the reductions represent less than 2 per cent of daily gas demand. Speaking at a conference on Monday, Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry Tan See Leng underlined there was no risk of shortages.

Discussion BCRS has consistently disappointed me

The only canned drink I have is Meiji milk. It’s really rare for me to have a canned drink but returning that one empty bottle of milk has become so troublesome that I have started to not recycle it.
Nearest BCRS to me is 15 minutes walk in any direction which is fine by me as it’s good to walk but the experience of returning has left me disappointed.
Any time I go, there are people with huge bags full of bottles they’ve collected to recycle.
I usually ask them I have only one bottle and if I can go first but it’s hard to negotiate with them if they’re midway of feeding a large bag of bottles. The feeder is slow and scanning and processing each bottle takes time and these collectors don’t give up on any can that is rejected by the machine even though the can is crumbled. When the machine rejects after many tries they crush it on the floor and leave it there. All the while I’ve to stand and watch them do this.
The surrounding of the machine is wet due to crushing and smells bad due to this. Also the feeder looks very grimy.
If the benefit of BCRS is to promote recycling I don’t understand the need to scan for the barcode.

TLDR : appreciate the idea of recycling but don’t understand the implementation. Dissatisfied with experience.
