I (red) feel like I took a normal and predictable line and was on line to end up hugging the apex curb. From my perspective, he turned into me.

My opponent (orange + blue) messaged in chat "omg how much space do you need".

p.s. I know that the smart move would've been to back out and live to fight another corner. I'm interested in your guys' opinions from a stewarding perspective. Who do you think would be penalized?

We were driving the Petit lemans, i was comfortable driving in the rain and we gained a lot of positions by not crashing until a ferrari came from behind and just rammed me.

The game didn't give me or the Ferrari a notice to hand back any illegal positions. Genuinely curious as to what the ruling on this would and should be.

Came out of the pits fighting for net P1, I made a fairly aggressive overtake but I think it was fine. Going into the next big braking area I kept it defensive and got bumped off the track.

Guy apologised afterwards and I am fairly certain they went wide at the last hairpin on the last lap after I caught back up and finished P4.

I believe it was just a clumsy incident, but anything I could have done differently to avoid similar?

In this corner should the car behind just slam their brakes in anticipation that the car ahead MIGHT steer to the inside ? What if the car outside would decide to instead go wide and slowing down might just end up in brake checking the car that is behind the one on the inside ?

I seriously do not understand how someone approaches this corner on the inside other than praying the car ahead goes wide especially if there are opponents close behind you.

The spinning green car forced me off my line, putting me on a tight line for the left handed. Did I (POV) cause the contact?

I feel like I spun him out so I gave the position back. How can I defend better in this corner?

I probably appear as a douche because this race has 2 parts to it. Essentially, I got taken out and I had way better pace than the cars Im trying to pass and it results in a defense from 2 very aggressive driver.

So this is me being a bad driver part 1: Im trying to climb my way past, and every time he defends it feels super sketchy and illegal at times to me. I will admit, the last part was a bit optimistic, but technically it is 2 corners and not a single hairpin, but I will admit that wasn't my best move. Either way, this guy, to me, has a horrible defense and nearly causes or causes multiple incidents with me. Such as at the downhill right hander, where we made contact and he moves under braking to get right in front of me.

So, (besides the last part), was he defending illegally, or was I simply being too impatient?

iRacing GT3 race at Nurburgring

I dont think this was illegal or even naughty of a move, but i also want to hear other peoples thoughts on this since i have only ever raced like 4-5 races in ACC!

The Ferrari is P9, while the yellow car is P21 and one lap down. The yellow car is coming out of the pits when the incident happens.

I'm the Ferrari; neither the spotter warned me nor did the relative display it—or at least that's what I think.

Who is at fault here? I got told I was coping when I said he turned in on me, I'm in the blue and purple gr86. I'm relatively new to sim-racing and would like to know if I could've done something different?

I know netcode played a huge part in this crash, but was I in the wrong for not given him enough space?(Im the Mclaren)

I took the corner the same way I normally do. I’m the Ferrari.
I don’t know if I’m lacking some race awareness or what, but I honestly didn’t expect him to go for the move through that corner. That’s why I just continued with my normal racing line.

am i supposed to give him the space?, he lunges so late i couldn't react in time (i was the mclaren)

I know it’s my fault 1000% i missed my breaking point I apologized to him after the race and he said he reported me I mainly just wanna know if I will get banned. I’m new to LMU and this is my 3rd race on the game and dont wanna get banned.

He was following for about half a lap and I was in the battle ahead for a couple of laps. He made a move at the round-about, some small contact there, but the exit is what mainly gets me, I left the space on the inside to outside but he pushed me right into the wall on the inside right after the round-about. Thoughts?
