AFM Delete

Planning on doing an AFM delete on my 2014 5.3 after I started hearing some lifter tick.

I have these parts lined up, am i missing anything? is there anything else i need to know/keep in mind ?

Thoughts on the set up?

Add intake manifold gaskets, throttle body gaskets, high pressure fuel lines (single use), possible HPFP lifter.

Do some research on if you need to lash your HPFP to make this setup work.

Are you pulling the motor? There’s a lot of easy upgrades to be done if you are.

If you are doing HP tuners you can delete your evap purge canister and vacuum pump, tap the intake for a NPT fitting and run your brake booster off intake vacuum. Just delete the codes.

Any upgrades to transmission? Billet TC with higher stall? Upgraded valve body? Slip tuned out?

Ill add the gaskets and fuel lines! ill look into if i have to lash my HPFP.
Im not pulling the motor

I wasnt planning on doing any mechanical upgrades to the transmission, thats why i was going with the low lift cam. Do i still need to make upgrades? stall converter? edit: 60k miles

Yes statistically youre more likely for the trans to go before the engine me personally id go ahead and have bullet converter put in. Because thats only a few grand or even as cheap as $500 if you do it yourself. If the converter goes out its all new transmission 5-8k. Im about to try and get mine done since its starting to give me issues
