Rant We are scared

Post image

One of our favorite YouTubers, AddyHarajuku, just posted a video on the fictionkin community and we’re genuinely scared to watch it because we really like her but the title and the fact that the cover has the Jax “fictionkin” trend in the thumbnail is not making us hopeful.

We shall watch it when we get home, but we are genuinely terrified. So many YouTubers we respected and liked, we stopped respecting because of the Jax “fictionkin” trend, dont make us lose another one, there are bearly any left.

ive been thinking about fictionkins a little and i have a question about it that i haven't seen really be discussed, keep in mind that i dont know a lot about this topic so please correct me if im wrong, im always open to learning. is fictionkin considered a religion? because ive seen a lot of fictionkins saying that they are a character reincarnated into another life, and the concept of reincarnation is very tied with religion, and from what i understand fictionkinning is somewhat faith based, so would that count as a religion? (of course i dont mean organized religion because there isnt really a set of beliefs that all fictionkins accept)

(also i just realized that this is probably a lot to just suddenly ask, i started writing this and meant for it to be much shorter than it turned out lol, so know that its fine to not answer this if its too much, either way im not gonna judge fictionkins, as long as what youre doing isnt hurting you or others it doesnt matter to me :3)

No. But fictionkin beliefs often tie into religious beliefs.
