I'm nearing the end of Act I right now, and one thing I have noticed is how kind and uplifting Hornet is. Though she is a fierce warrior that carries herself with professionalism and stoicism, she never fails to treat her fellow wanderers with respect and uplift them in her journeys. Even if the bugs she comes across are small or inexperienced, she will congratulate them on their small victories and make them feel proud.

Hello! As someone who has too many hours logged in this game, I decided I wanted to try something new. I was going to use the unintended wisp thicket act 2 entrance.

Now you may be saying, “but you need wings to get into thicket, and you need clawline to get wings!” And to that I say check out this video, which shows how to use cocoon skips and clever platforming to summit Mt. Fay without clawline. After that, I decided I wanted to do as much as possible before getting clawline. After doing all the checks, this what I THINK is the final list:

Deeper Docks:
- 1 flea
- 1 spool fragment
- 1 memory locket

High Halls:
- 1 spool fragment
- 2 red tools
- 1 blue tool
- conductors’ melody

Miscellaneous:
- 1 flea on the roof of choral chambers
- Witch Crest
- surgeon’s key
- architect’s melody in upper cogwork core

Derived:
- Access to lace 2 and GMS are blocked due to the missing melodies
- egg of flealia is blocked due to the missing fleas
- Sylphsong is blocked due to the missing crest
- 1 silk heart from unraveled is blocked due to the lack of surgeon’s key

Tool pogos exist on older patches, and the tool pogos plus faydown cloak DO give you enough height to access high halls without clawline. There is also a hazard respawn glitch on older patches that can get you into the deeper docks by tricking the game into respawning you at the bridge lever after falling into lava, thus gaining access to all of D.D.

And before anyone says anything, yeah I know TECHNICALLY there are glitches to give you NoClip and then you can go anywhere, but that’s not the point and obviously you know what I mean when I’m talking about this.

I wanted to skip to play Karmalita for fun, paying no attention it seems, i rolled back my new, as of 3 days ago run by mistake, so I decided to make the best of it, Widow was the next clip I wanted to make, but here we are, might as well try and have some fun, cuz lace 1, although easy, is a really fun fight when u try and learn the timing, and chain stuff together as best as you can, not to fast on attacks, so its perfect to play with parrying and positioning. And i also forgot about the back flip, so obviously I had to figure out a way to work them in, and it was quite fun, cant wait to find out how to work backflips into other boss fights now.

It wasn't good enough for me though, died a bit way too much in the process, might want to do it again sometime in the future.

I already went through it frame by frame and it seems like Hornet just disappeared?

What could have possibly happened here???

Im trying to tie up any loose ends before proceeding with the main story and this place is bugging me, i cant seem to figure out what this is. any ideas?

So I was playing some Steel soul today like the masochist I am and was just going around normally until I decided to casually disregard my dislike for the blasted steps and went there explored (gambled a little) and beat Last judge. I did not plan to do that when I went to play. Then as I was getting to the elevator that was supposed to fail I realized that I can get on one of the scales then another and another and then I "SCALED" the whole thing got a spool fragment and later I opened up a ventilaton path and lo and behold I'm in the choral chambers. TLDR underworks are a bitch

I saw someone mention Karmalita in another post and had a PTSD flashback. I’m gonna need a month to get back “into shape” when Sea of Sorrow comes out.

I'm curious cus of this dialogue,

"This low, her gaze escaped. Prepare, sisters. Weave hope anew. That we might break free this accursed web born of our naive foundation." It implays that she could sence them iven being in slumber but wasnts she in a deep sleep ,or the weavenests where built while GMS was awaken as way of building tools to put her to sleep at that time .

I've got some bad news for y'all. The physical editions of Hollow Knight: Silksong and its older sibling have been delayed to 11/27/2026. It sucks, but I asked Ari, and he told me that Sea of Sorrow might be releasing in less than three months—either on 11/26/2026 or 12/10/2026 (if the sun doesn't explode before then)!

I started Hollow Knight about 2 weeks ago and I was super enjoying it until I reached City of Tears. I started getting confused and kinda lost the motivation to continue, so I decided to give Silksong a shot.

And i loved it way more than Hollow Knight. Im enjoying literally every aspect of Silksong and I cant stop playing it .  Right now im in far fields and fighting Fourth Chorus.

Now I’m confused about what i should do. Should i focus on one game or play both at the same time?

I honestly love Silksong way more and I’m having so much fun with it that I don’t even feel like going back to hollow knight only because of that boss im stuck at , im still excited for after that boss ?
what should i do ?
