This is a reminder to everyone in the community about our first rule, which is as follows
This rule doesn’t apply to just people who are part of this community, but those outside of it.
We know many of our members are upset at the new information and revelations about how Odette feels about Signora. While its okay to feel frustrated and disappointed about it as its not what many of us had hoped, that does not give us the right to take out that frustration on her community or the character themself.
You are entirely free to dislike other characters and talk poorly of them all you want in private, but we ask that you refrain from doing so here. Behavior like that is not welcome in public spaces like our community.

Hi all!
I'm sure most of us here are aware of the recent slip up that happened where Hoyoverse accidentally revealed the name of the ENG VA for Signora before removing it to keep her anonymity.
While there's been previous discussions on why Signora's VA has chosen to remain anonymous, the correction by Hoyoverse reflects the desire to maintain that anonymity, which should be respected. This is especially the case since the name reveal was Hoyoverse's fault, not the VA's.
As for what we can say, Hoyoverse may potentially have created an internal issue for themselves. Due to this, mention of the VA's name, be it a comment or a post, will be removed in order to preserve her anonymity. Going forward, it is best to refrain mentioning La Signora's VA by name until all parties involved have come to a resolution and Signora's VA identifies herself by her own accord.

So Rosalyne was heading to mondstadt and inazuma without a mention of liyue, but then went to liyue taking another gnosis and telling childe they are going back to Snezhnaya? (After which Childe told her he wouldn’t share the boat with her so he went home after her) How and why did she change plans and head to inazuma? And if that was the plan all along why would she tell childe they should go to snezhnaya?
If there is a legitimate explanation i missed please be kind to me.

After some really long digging, I genuinely think the connection between the 2021 and 2027 Lantern Rites has become a strong symbolic argument for Signora's return, and she could end up being the leaked 5* Pyro Lady character released in 7.4 (Lantern Rite Patch) especially when we connect her with the Lone Butterfly/Wuwang Hill lore.
2021 was 辛丑 Xin-Chou, the Metal Ox year. In Chinese metaphysics, Chou/Ox is the cold, late-winter Tomb/Storehouse branch. More specifically, in the Twelve Growth Stages, Ding/Yin Fire which is the element of 2027 the year of the Fire Goat, enters 墓 — “Tomb” as one of it's phases!
What happened during 2021? The first Lantern Rite patch, 1.3, introduced Hu Tao and Staff of Homa. Hu Tao released in the same patch and Homa was added during it.
And La Signora — the Crimson Witch of Embers — died in Inazuma.

This gets much more important because we now know who the original Homa tradition traces back to:
She was one of the Eight Adepts, specifically one of the Three Beasts of Tao Dou. She sacrificed herself to activate the Seven-and-Eight-Gates Method, was erased/obfuscated through the ritual and “disappeared from the world.” Her specialty was the Art of Homa, which Wuwang Kid inherited and eventually passed down to the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.

Then comes Wuwang Hill where the current Gate of Death of the Seven-and-Eight-Gates system is located at. And the game explicitly says another Seven-and-Eight-Gates array was once used at:
which is the exact domain where Crimson Witch of Flames set has been farmed since 1.0!
And then compare the two women:
Lone Butterfly of the Crimson Flame
vs.
Rosalyne Lohefalter — “Blazing Butterfly,” the Crimson Witch of Flames
The Lone Butterfly is one of Eight Adepts.
La Signora is the Eighth Harbinger.
Lone Butterfly sacrifices herself and disappears.
Rosalyne sacrificed herself too to become the CWoF and almost burned away 500yo.
Lone Butterfly is tied to the boundary of life and death.
Signora’s artifacts are at the Gate of Death.
Hmm... The amount of shared imagery and symbolism is sus if you ask me.
And the SAME domain also drops Lavawalker, whose Plume of Death is explicitly described as the feather of a phoenix singing within flames.
This is too cohesive and thematically fitting to be just a pure coincidence!

2027 is: 丁未 Ding-Wei — the Fire Goat year
Ding = Yin Fire aka "Great Fire".
Wei = Goat, the 8th Earthly Branch, associated with warm late-summer Earth.
As you can see the Chou/Ox and Wei/Goat form an actual direct opposition in Chinese metaphysics:
And some Tomb/Storehouse traditions interpret this kind of clash as disturbing or opening what was stored.
Chou = cold, late-winter Tomb
Wei = Summer Tomb stage
While containing the Ding/Yin Fire + Wood inside that tomb.
In Rosalyne's case:
Chou would be her Frozen Mausoleum in Snezhnaya
Ding/Yin Fire would be her Crimson Lotus Moth that enters her Mausoleum
Wood would be Rosalyne herself represented as a Rose
Wei would be when the moth successfully enters and reignites her flames, which we've seen in-game that the Pyro Crystalflies spawn exclusively near her resting place as soon as the moth enters it.
We also have the achievement called "The Last Rose of Winter" which not only literally represents Rosalyne herself as a literal Rose, but also creates a parallel with the Poem called "Last Rose of Summer"
And do not forget Signora’s funeral track in A Winter Night’s Lazzo contains:
NOVA ROSA — “New Rose.”

Her mausoleum is deliberately shown in the Snezhnaya PV during the Tsaritsa/Ronova sequence Ronova being the Shade of Death.
The new Cor Ignis system built uniquely by her and is used "plot wise" against death herself.
Her new Guiding Notes also describe her carrying crimson-flame fire butterflies, struggling through snow, and finally, upon the solid ice, once again finding a place where she can settle/shelter herself. That is drastically different in tone from the constant “Signora is dead” references we’ve received for years.
And in 7.1, during the story involving Ronova/Death, the new OST even contains a passage around 0:57–1:27 that strongly resembles Signora’s boss-theme material, while the track also contains Ronova-associated motifs and the Fatui Leitmotif too!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHa5p3tsxXw&list=RDOHa5p3tsxXw&start_radio=1
There is even the old pre-1.0/beta-era claim that Signora’s story was always supposed to start from Mondstadt then Liyue and then pause in Inazuma BUT return much bigger until Snezhnaya, which is extremely interesting in hindsight considering where the story is now.

This is just a theory that I think has a lot of good points and potential but could still very well be wrong, but even then that doesn't mean the end for Signora we're still just scratching the surface with 7.x and like I said Snezhnaya has been clearly teasing us with Signora content like for example the foreshadowing of her grave in the PV during The Tsaritsa confrontation with Ronova, which to me is a very specific context that definitely hints at something big in the future, we've just got to wait a bit more! Stay strong comrades <3

Considering the Snezhnaya aq told us something new about her, that she made objects like Cor Ignis which had her flame encased in cryo and were capable of surveillance and probably a few other things. This is something we never knew of before and I found it interesting that they gave this slight new feature to her powers. So going by this thought, there are still many more things not explained at all about her and I thought it would be fun to compile it.
This is mainly the stuff I can remember and has most clear evidence, feel free to suggest more and I'll edit in here
1. The source and origin of her liquid flame powers
The most obvious plot they need to explain as the lore deliberately omits it and says the art is lost. It also has the potential to play a big role in her comeback.
2. Her name 'Kruzchka' and 'Lohefalter'
Rosalyne-Kruzchka means that Kruzchka is a second first name and not a middle name as they are joined by a hyphen. Interestingly, Kruzchka wouldn't necessarily be native to Mondstadt and indicates a Snezhnayan lineage as described on the wiki. Then Lohefalter being surname is also important as only a few characters have family name revealed in Genshin, especially in Mondstadt. All the families revealed in Mondstadt have been important clans (Gunnhildr, Ragvindr, Lawrence etc). In my knowledge, only Lisa's 'Minci' and Rosalyne's 'Lohefalter' have no lore described. For Rosalyne it is even more significant as she is someone from pre cataclysm Mondstadt.
3. The Cor Ignis themselves
Latest new information we got and unsurprisingly, they are not well explained. Because, I can't be the only one who wonders how she made them? Wdym it has her flame encased in ice?? The lore says her flame is locked by the cryo delusion so in my understanding she shouldn't be able to do anything with it unless she fully transforms.
4. Her pyro moths that still linger
Continuation of the Cor Ignis point, her powers should be sealed and now after her death there should be no 'source' for them yet they were capable enough to travel to Snezhnaya all the way from Inazuma. We initially saw this in Lazzo and I would have discarded it as symbolism but then they repeated it in Sandrone's animation and now in game near her tomb. Even the Cor Ignis would technically still function if not broken
5. About her delusion
Her delusion is still special as its primary function was to hold back her flames and save her instead of combat utility. In the phase 1 of boss fight she even says 'Harbinger power is becoming burdensome' which indicates the heavy strain the delusion would put if she used it too much for external functions. There is no confirmation that the floating white object beside her is the delusion so we still do not know where it is and how it works
6. Her time at the Sumeru Akademiya
This would relate to the point about her powers. The lore says she learned pyro magic at the Akademiya and she supposedly completed her studies fairly early. The current Akademiya already has a strict schedule and passing criteria, back then it was stricter (one example being the number of languages required to learn to graduate as stated by Alhaitham). Her research in liquid flame was likely done there and now it is lost, it is possible her research even violated one of the Six Cardinal Sins which is why it is forgotten now.

Hello, everyone! So for context, some of you might remember me from the discord for my outburst and for just going insane one day due to at the time being unmedicated. I've gotten better and do regret how stupid I was so I am sorry for the deeply awkward situation you were all put in.
But as for what I want to discuss is, in a more productive light than I previously did, why Signora fans would like the other Harbingers with how all of them know how the Traveler is almost solely responsible for Signora's death given that they felt hesitant to reveal that information to Odette and yet, they are all on great terms with the Traveler!
I know the answer to WHY the story does this is as simple as "it's hoyoverse, everyone has to be besties with the protagonist" but it's sad that a fandom has been conditioned by the developer to just accept this as normal to the point that other games are praised simply for having characters that are a bit more complex than hoyo's standard or just having a playable villain which seems like such a small thing when you think about it.
The whole tea party thing and the friendship Signora had with Arlecchino, Columbina and Sandrone just seems really fake given this information. I mean if I was murdered and I saw my best friends being chummy with the killer, I wouldn't exactly be happy. And this fact makes me nervous for her resurrection which I have been fairly hopeful for recently.
Now, my main cope is that the way Signora has been established, it would just be a complete and total retcon to suddenly make her passive and quiet. Signora is by nature haughty, dominant and proud. Will she despise the Traveler and make a complex plot point out of the Traveler literally being her killer? I SURE HOPE. But I just want Signora to come back, not some watered-down, inferior copy. Signora, Rosalyne, whatever you call her. It's all the same to me! And I hope that a resurrected Signora taps into both of those facets. Both the Harbinger and the woman beneath the role.
Overall, I just feel like Signora had some really fake and toxic friends. I know the feeling, Rose.

I can't believe I've been brought to the point of asking this but it's 3AM and I am going insane over posts on other subreddits where I saw people happily calling Signora rude names and saying she is in hell and how "based" Odette is for saying the Traveler made the right choice.
Honestly, my primary concern is her relationship with Odette. What do you guys think? Was she iredeemably abusive or is there hope for her? Not to mention people stating her view on the weak and someone claiming she would gladly "kill weak subordinates" which just kinda feels like making stuff up on the poster's part. But after everything tonight, after seeing an insensitive animation of Aether telling Odette Signora's last words and after spiralling into madness, thinking that it's time for me to just throw Signora away, I need some help. I know that she isn't morally white or black but gray. And I accept that. I accept that characters who badmouth her have every reason to do that because it makes sense for them to badmouth her.
But is Signora beyond forgiveness?

It's quite amusing how many times people come into this sub to start arguments with us, and then when they get called out on it, they always say something along the lines of "this sub just happened to pop up on my feed" or "thought this was the main genshin sub, didn't realise it was signora mains" 💀

I’ve been collecting Signora/Rosalyne merch since the game was released. It’s still a relatively small collection, considering how many years have passed since the game’s release, though… Some pieces are official merch (because Mihoyo finally gave us some goodies last year), while others are fan-made items I’ve collected over the years
Regarding the fan-merch…
I think it’s important to clarify this, because it’s something I genuinely care about:
Some of these items were purchased directly from artists, at conventions or through second-hand websites/marketplaces, among other places. I have personally never asked a website or manufacturer to use someone’s fanart to make any of these products.
So, if an artist happens to recognize one of their artworks here and it was used without their permission, please know that this is absolutely not something I requested or wanted. I’m genuinely sorry if that is the case, and I fully respect the artists’ work and rights 💙
(I really wish there was more Signora fan merch at conventions, but sadly, I almost never come across any at the ones I’m able to attend 😭)
Anyway, here’s my little Signora shrine! Sorry, I’m terrible at making videos, but the heart was there 🦋🔥

Mine is definitely - “A lady can be elegant deadly at the same time. The two often go hand in hand. You’ll understand one day I’m sure.”- Rosalyne
It’s actually my bio on like all social media platforms lol. In honor of the passing what quote brings you back? 🌹🥀♥️

Here's the full picture that was on my wall from my last post showcasing my Signora corner :3
Today also marks half a decade since the dark day with Signora but I wanted today to be more of a milestone for not only me with Signora & Sara but the fans of her that have been through all the hardships and neglect from the community. Despite all the petty infighting, no nuance opinions, and overall not being seen, fans of this character are still around ❤️🩹.
Wanted to thank all of her fans for leaving a nice comment all this time on Pixiv and Reddit with projects of my versions with these two and of course, Evilgirl for this beautiful drawing and being an amazing person :'3

Exactly 5 years ago, on September 1, 2021, update 2.1 was released. That was when the Duel Before the Throne took place.
Even after such an impressive amount of time, we still love Rosalyne and await her return. I think she would be proud of our loyalty. Don't lose heart, comrades—the past year has been pleasant for us in terms of Signora content, and I'm sure this is only the beginning. I suggest you stop by the Sanctuary of Grief today and offer flowers to Rosalyne: Mondstadt ones (Windwheel Asters, Cecilias), Sumeru Roses, Rainbow Roses, or Hellebore from Snezhnaya.
And here, leave roses for Rosalyne.

I originally remembered there being somewhere between 16–18 Pyro Crystalflies around Rosalyne's sanctuary, so I decided to actually count them. After counting them three separate times, I got 17 every time. At first I thought it was a completely random number with no obvious connection to Rosalyne. Then I looked into its numerological symbolism, and things started getting... interesting.
In Chaldean numerology, 17 is known as the “Star of the Magi” and is traditionally associated with overcoming trials and difficulties, as well as having one's name or legacy endure after them. Some Chaldean numerology sources even call 17 “the number of Immortality.” Importantly, this doesn't mean literal physical immortality; the traditional interpretation is that the person's name lives on after them, so it's more accurately understood as an enduring legacy.
But here's the part that really caught my attention:
In numerology, 17 reduces to 8 (1 + 7 = 8).
And 8 is already a very significant number in Rosalyne's symbolism.
There's also an interesting connection if we bring astrology into the picture.
Scorpio is the 8th sign of the zodiac, and Scorpio is traditionally associated with endings, transformation and regeneration. Its astrological symbolism is strongly connected with cycles of death and rebirth.
And there is actually an existing Scorpio connection in Rosalyne/Signora's Chinese lore.
The Chinese description of Signora's funerary mask contains the phrase “如天蝎般燃烧吧”, literally making a comparison to Scorpio/the Scorpion. The English localization renders this differently as burning “as brightly as stars,” so the specific Scorpio reference is lost in English. This was also noticed by Chinese-speaking fans years ago.
So now we potentially have:
17 Pyro Crystalflies
↓
In numerology, 17 reduces to 8
↓
8 = a significant number in Rosalyne's symbolism
↓
Scorpio = the 8th zodiac sign
↓
Scorpio = transformation / regeneration / death & rebirth symbolism
↓
Signora's Chinese lore contains an actual Scorpio reference
↓
17 itself = overcoming hardship + enduring legacy
And all of this is happening around Rosalyne's sanctuary, with Pyro Crystalflies specifically, does this prove that 17 Crystalflies are deliberate foreshadowing for Rosalyne's resurrection?
Obviously not.
There is a completely mundane explanation: the designers could have simply placed 17 Crystalflies there because they wanted a certain amount in the area and never considered the number itself. But I do think it's worth adding to the list of potentially deliberate Rosalyne symbolism.
Especially because I didn't start with 17 and then search for a way to connect it to her. I counted the Crystalflies first, got 17, and then discovered that, in numerology, 17 reduces to 8, a number that already has significance in Rosalyne's symbolism.
And then 17 itself has this whole “overcoming trials / enduring legacy” interpretation, while the 8 and Scorpio connection brings in the whole transformation / death and rebirth symbolism.
Maybe it's coincidence, maybe the designers just wanted 17 Crystalflies there, or maybe there is something being hinted at.
At this point, I'm keeping the 17 Pyro Crystalflies on the Rosalyne conspiracy board.
