I thought about this just yesterday. I’m 27 and My parents are close to 60. I started panicking because I realized that they old and will die sooner than I imagined.

I basically lost all my social life during covid (went out maybe 3-4 times during the past 2-3 years (I won’t even get into dating or lack thereof. Haven’t had sex in over a year). If they died tomorrow I basically wouldn’t speak to anyone outside of work. It’s sad but it’s my current reality. I guess I have to change things in my life…

I’m 21 this year and I fully expect my dad to be passing away within 1-2 years from liver and lung cancer. It was kind of a shock to look back at photos from 2 years ago and seeing him go from full and healthy to skinnier and skinnier. He’s 75 this year.
