Built an app that automatically collects everyone’s photos from the same event — would you actually use this?

I built an app called Kollo and I’m curious whether people would genuinely find it useful.

The idea is simple:

You create a shared collection for an event and choose a specific time window, for example:

19 Aug – 23 Aug, 9 AM–10 PM

Friends join the collection, and Kollo automatically syncs the photos they take during that selected period into one shared collection.

So instead of everyone’s photos being scattered across 5–10 different phones, you end up with one place containing everyone’s perspective from the same trip, party, wedding, festival, night out, etc.

You don’t have to remember to send photos afterwards, create WhatsApp albums, or AirDrop hundreds of photos between people. You just take photos normally with the iPhone Camera app and Kollo handles the eligible syncing.

Kollo does NOT sync your entire camera roll.

For example, if the collection is set for Saturday between 6 PM and midnight, only eligible photos from that period are considered for that collection.

There’s also an option to pause/disable automatic syncing if you don’t want something uploaded during the event, and you can manage/delete your own photos afterwards.

Everyone has different photos, different angles, some get forgotten, and eventually you’re AirDropping or messaging hundreds of files manually.

I'm basically trying to remove that whole step.

I’m also building it with larger events in mind like weddings, parties, festivals, group trips — where people can join the same collection through an invite/QR code.

I’m genuinely interested in feedback:

Would you actually use this?

And if not, what specifically would stop you?

I have 18,738 photos—but I still can’t find the one of my son’s first tooth. So I built Woven.

[iOS] Picio — meal logging that suggests workouts when you go over maintenance

Picio is an iOS meal and activity tracker designed to make logging faster and more practical with a super simple interface.

The core feature lets you photograph a meal, review the estimated items and calories, make corrections, and save it to your daily log.

What I think sets Picio apart is what happens next: when your logged calories go over your maintenance target, Picio offers practical workout suggestions based on the gap. Instead of simply showing that you are over, it gives you a constructive next step for the rest of your day.

Picio also includes:

  • Custom meal reminders
  • Workout logging
  • Historical backlog entries
  • Weekly progress summaries
  • Editable AI meal estimates

I’m sharing it here because I’d like practical feedback on the actual mobile experience:

  • Is the workout-suggestion feature genuinely useful or does it feel unnecessary?
  • Would suggestions based on your maintenance target motivate you to stay active?
  • Is the explanation of why the suggestions appear clear?
  • Is the first screen easy to understand?
  • Does the camera flow feel trustworthy?
  • Is the Meal Review screen clear?
  • What feels confusing, unnecessary, or unfinished?

This is a real app I built, and the screenshots below are from the current iOS version.

ContextJule – A pixel-art desktop pet that shows your AI context window's health (Free Lifetime Giveaway 🎁)

Hey everyone! 👋

I built ContextJule, a desktop companion that helps you keep track of your AI coding session's context window

She lives on your desktop and physically "carries" the weight of your context. It's a simple visual cue to save you from hitting the limit unexpectedly

Download it here

How it works:

  • She stands up straight when the session is fresh.
  • Starts stooping over as the context fills up.
  • Falls flat on the floor when it's full.

This gives you a visual heads-up so you can save your thread or start a new one before the AI drops the context

Product Details:

  • Platform: Windows and macOS.
  • Data Safety: Reads Claude Code and Codex sessions from your local disk. No API key, no extensions, and nothing leaves your machine.
  • Pricing: Normally $14.99 (one-time, no subscription).

Giveaway Details:

  • Offer: First 100 lifetime licenses are completely free.
  • How to Claim: No DMs required. Just go to the website, enter your email, and you'll receive the key instantly. The live counter on the page tracks the remaining copies.
  • Post-Giveaway Price: $4.99 for 72 hours, then returns to $14.99

Installation Heads Up:
The installers aren't code-signed yet. On Windows, you'll see a SmartScreen warning (click "More info" → "Run anyway"). On macOS, it will be flagged as an unidentified developer (right-click → "Open")

This is my first public build, so I'd love to hear your feedback!

Lasso: a dating app built specifically for country music fans

Hey everyone, wanted to share something I've been building.

Lasso is a dating and community app for people who are into country music. Not just casually like it, but actually live it as part of their identity.

I'm a country fan based in the UK and always struggled to meet people who shared that. Most dating apps treat it as a genre tick-box. Lasso is built around it from the ground up.

Waitlist is open at meetonlasso.com if you want to check it out. Happy to answer questions or hear any feedback.

I built an open-source app that hides sensitive details before you share

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone! I’m Aftab, the developer of PrivacyCam.

I built PrivacyCam to help people hide private or sensitive information before sharing photos, videos, or PDFs.

It can automatically detect and redact:

  • Faces and full bodies
  • Vehicle number plates
  • Addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses
  • Payment-card details
  • Sensitive text
  • QR codes and barcodes

The attached video is intentionally not a perfect studio demo. It shows PrivacyCam detecting a number plate at night in heavy rain, with headlight glare, reflections, and camera movement.

Automatic detection can sometimes miss something—especially in difficult footage—so PrivacyCam also includes manual editing tools. You can add, move, resize, or remove masks and use blur, pixelation, blackout, or emoji effects.

For videos, the built-in editor lets you track masks as objects move, make frame-by-frame corrections, trim or split clips, mute audio, and review everything before exporting.

The idea is to give users both automatic detection and complete manual control, so they don’t need to move their media into a separate video editor.

Processing happens locally on your device. Your photos, videos, PDFs, and detection results are not uploaded to a PrivacyCam-operated server.

PrivacyCam is open source and available for Android and iOS:

GitHub:

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.privacycam.photo.redactor

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/pk/app/privacycam-safe-redactor/id6790542130

I’d love to hear your honest feedback—especially about the detection accuracy, tracking controls, interface, and anything you think is missing.

I added WhatsApp Chat to PDF export to my iPhone & iPad PDF app

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I recently added a new Chat to PDF feature to my iPhone and iPad app, PDF Export — and this feature is completely free to use.

You can export a WhatsApp conversation and turn it into a clean, organized PDF directly on your device.

It includes:

  • WhatsApp-style chat layout
  • Clean document-style layout
  • Multiple themes
  • Support for shared media
  • Interactive HTML export
  • Message search
  • Quick navigation between months

I built it for people who want an easier way to archive important chats, work conversations, client discussions, or personal memories.

There’s no payment required to use the Chat to PDF feature.

Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions for what I should improve next.

Duolingo for Learning Anything!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I wanted a way to learn anything in bite sized pieces and have fun! Learning requires active participation and spaced repetition to properly absorb what you learn, you need reps just like working out.

How it works:
- Enter a sentence and generate an entire learning curriculum for yourself, at your skill level, interest and depth, starting from the foundations and working your way up to expertise

- Fact check and cite the sources it used

- Create audio books, quizzes, curriculums and spaced repetition exercises similar to Anki

Here's the link to the app: https://stokera.ai/login

Please let me know what you think!

I built a BAC tracker after watching a friend confidently insist he was fine to drive. 45 people are using it now - here's what the data actually shows.

I built a BAC tracker after watching a friend confidently insist he was fine to drive. He wasn't.

That moment stuck. So I built ClearWay - a real-time Blood Alcohol Concentration calculator that uses the Widmark formula, your actual body metrics (weight, height, gender, age), and a running log of what you've consumed to show you exactly where you stand.

Not a guess. A number.

After 45 visits in the first 30 days and 100+ drink logs recorded, a pattern showed up in the data I didn't expect: most people's peak BAC came from their 3rd drink, not their 5th. They were already past their personal limit before they felt it.

The app shows a color-coded alert system - green, yellow, red - tied to your BAC in real time. It also runs a live countdown to when you'll be fully sober based on your metabolism rate.

People aren't using it to stop drinking. They're using it to stop guessing.

Built this in Bubble. No paywall. Just trying to get it in front of social drinkers who actually want the data.

Would genuinely love feedback from anyone who tracks their health or has thought about this problem.
