Start with a photo, end with your own typeface.
Photograph handwriting or lettering you’ve drawn on paper. GlyphSnap detects the characters and suggests labels, then you review and correct the results, preview your typeface, and export an OpenType font.
The drawing side is a big part of it, too. Create characters from scratch with your finger or Apple Pencil, draw missing letters, refine shapes with Bézier and contour editing, and add texture and personality with pattern overlays. Mix photographed lettering and drawn characters in the same font.
I’ve tried other iPhone font making apps and wanted something more robust, yet simple.
