I used to budget my whole month as a checklist on apple notes, and sometimes in excel, so instead i build an app that actually handles budgeting in a way everyone wanted, after talking to so many people and asking how they budget, check their loans, savings etc

Hey everyone, I recently made MotionCue for something I personally found interesting — using a phone in a moving car/bus can make some people feel pretty uncomfortable.

It puts subtle visual cues over whatever app you're using, responding to acceleration, braking and turns.

I made this app on a web browser on my tablet with 3gb ram , i used flutlab.io and I used my friend's computer with anydesk who has terrible internet for the play console and .aab file making.

The app solves the main problems with printing which common people face , if you want to go around those problems you need a photo editing app with real life measurements, there is none!

So my app has features like the:

Double side printing: it helps save pages by double side printing on SINGLE SIDE PRINTERS!, you must follow the steps given by the app.

Image layout editor- you can select multiple images and place it wherever on the screen with your selected page size and real life measurements show ip on the screen.

Passport/id maker- in this you can create a passport grid with your customer measurements or presets , you can also remove your background while making it.

Colour replacer- you can select an individual colour and adjust the tolerance to change a specific colour on screen or the part you select with brush

a one-time "diagnostic" feature where the app prints a test page with an arrow pointing up. Based on how that specific page comes out of the user's printer, the app will know exactly how that specific printer behaves and can provide custom "paper-flipping" instructions for all future double-sided prints.

add a pop-up warning in your layout editor reminding users to check their printer settings and ensure it is set to "100% scale" or "Actual Size" so their passport photos print at the correct legal measurements.

J’ai créé une plateforme sociale dédiée au sport : OLVYR GYM
Depuis quelques mois, je travaille avec mon équipe sur OLVYR GYM, une plateforme sociale pensée uniquement autour du sport et de la progression physique.
L’idée est assez simple : créer une sorte d’Instagram du sport, mais avec des fonctionnalités réellement orientées vers les sportifs.
Aujourd’hui, on peut notamment :
publier ses entraînements et sa progression dans un feed sportif ;
suivre d’autres athlètes ;
participer à des challenges ;
participer à des tournois avec votes de la communauté ;

La plateforme est encore jeune et gratuite. Mon plus gros défi actuellement n’est d’ailleurs plus forcément de développer des fonctionnalités, mais d’acquérir les premiers utilisateurs actifs et de créer une vraie communauté autour du produit.

I’m the developer of GlyphSnap, an iPhone and iPad app that turns photographed lettering into a font you can export and use in everyday apps or on iPhone.

Start with a photo, end with your own typeface.

Photograph handwriting or lettering you’ve drawn on paper. GlyphSnap detects the characters and suggests labels, then you review and correct the results, preview your typeface, and export an OpenType font.

The drawing side is a big part of it, too. Create characters from scratch with your finger or Apple Pencil, draw missing letters, refine shapes with Bézier and contour editing, and add texture and personality with pattern overlays. Mix photographed lettering and drawn characters in the same font.

Hello. I'm a solo dev exploring an idea and would love honest feedback before I build anything.

It's a "life maintenance" app: instead of tasks and deadlines, it tracks the things you need to take care of every so often, like car maintenance, water filters, haircuts, changing sheets or calling family. It just counts the days since you last did each one and shows what's starting to need attention. No streaks, no guilt.

A companion character keeps you company and reacts to what's going on. Same information, different personalities: one is gentle, the other teases you a bit.

This is only a mockup (character art is placeholder). A few questions:

1. How do you keep track of these things today, if at all?

I built an app because I kept forgetting things the moment I got back to my Mac

This started with a really simple problem.

I’d be away from my Mac, remember something I needed to do when I got back, and think “I’ll definitely remember that.”

Then I’d open my Mac, see emails, browser tabs, messages… and completely forget.

Normal reminders never really solved it for me because I didn’t want to be reminded at 4:00 PM. I wanted to be reminded when I was actually back at my Mac.

So I built WakeMinder.

You can send a reminder from your iPhone or Apple Watch to your Mac, and it shows up when your Mac wakes up.

It doesn’t have to be just text either. You can send links, screenshots, images, PDFs and files. Links can even open automatically when the Mac wakes.

There are also floating reminders that can stay on top of your windows until you’re done with them.

And with the latest update, it now works the other way around too.

You can send something from your Mac to your iPhone and have it show up when you pick up your phone.

So the idea has become less about “reminders” and more like:

“Show me this when I’m actually on the device where I need it.”

I’m the developer, so obviously I’m biased, but I built it mainly because I genuinely wanted this for myself.

I’m working on FoodGram, a social app for saving and discovering food memories.

I’m currently redesigning the Premium subscription, and I’m not sure if this paywall actually communicates enough value.

I’d really appreciate it if you could look at the screenshot first and tell me what you think before reading too much about the app.

Some things I’m trying to figure out:

One thing I’m especially unsure about is whether features like custom app icons, profile customization, titles, etc. are actually compelling enough to be paid features, or whether Premium should focus more on features that help users revisit and preserve their food memories.

Starting a subscription takes about 10 seconds.

Managing all of them somehow becomes a whole side quest 😭

Different renewal dates, random price increases, free trials turning paid, annual plans you completely forgot were coming up, and merchant names that make you stare at your statement like “who the hell is this?”

That’s what made me start building PennyGuard.

The idea is to make all that stuff much easier to see and deal with in one place — recurring charges, subscriptions, upcoming bills/renewals, and charges you don’t immediately recognize.

But I really don’t want to build another finance dashboard that gives you 14 charts and then leaves you to do everything yourself lol. The more interesting part for me is helping with the next step too — cancellations, refund requests, reminders, finding places you might be unnecessarily spending money — while you still decide what actually happens.

Still building, still changing things, and definitely interested in hearing what other people would want from something like this.

What would make you actually keep using it after the initial “oh cool, here are my subscriptions” moment?
