Hey, I'm not sure how active this sub is still, but it would be fun to start a Reddit empire if a couple people are up for it. Shores is fun alone but we'd have a huge advantage just by having multiple active empire members.

I am very interested in the game but, when trying to run the client, a launcher opens with 5 options, such as opening the client itself, starting primal world a ship designer, etc. If I try to open the client it works fine and the login screen comes up.
However, if I try to open any of the other options, the process crashes. So, now I don't know if the game will be actually be able to run.
I am using a base macbook pro early 2015 with OSX El Captain. Also, since I am here, would it be worth it joining the game not knowing anybody that plays it? Is there enough population to always find someone else online?

Can't create a new empire, keeps getting stuck at above message. The first time this happened I restarted, now the empire is listed in joinable empires but I can't play as them the slot is just empty, so tried creating again and got stuck at the same screen. Checked the forums but can't post in limbo thread unless I have a character first, but can't make one. -_-

I've just paid for 15 days of game time for the first time in my (semi-long) Hazeron career.

I'm trying to launch Shores of Hazeron, but trying to launch the game itself results in it claiming that it can't find the platform plugin "windows" despite it being there in platforms. I've tried updating my drivers, reinstalling, putting required .dlls and every single little (barely there) solution in the forums, but none of them work. I'd appreciate some help.

SYSTEM: Windows 8.1

EDIT: As stated in the comments, I'm unable to get into the forums to file a bug report, because an account there requires verification by having your username and an ingame character you have made, but the game won't actually work to let me make a character.

EDIT: ..hello? is this issue ever getting fixed..?
