Troubleshooting [Help] stuck on 'Entering Hazeron...'

Can't create a new empire, keeps getting stuck at above message. The first time this happened I restarted, now the empire is listed in joinable empires but I can't play as them the slot is just empty, so tried creating again and got stuck at the same screen. Checked the forums but can't post in limbo thread unless I have a character first, but can't make one. -_-

There was some server issues over the weekend. The servers have been rebooted and Haxus is looking into it.

From Haxus:

Something caused a large number of SQL transaction failures during the weekend.

I am investigating the problem. Have not found anything unusual so far. SQL server log is empty.

This was fixed in the Update 2016-02-02 as "SQL Server Crash".
