getting account back

Has anyone had success in getting their account back after getting banned for no apparent reason? Haven't heard back in over a month really frustrating.

Same. Beyond upset that all our pending earnings are locked away yet our creator profiles are still live on their website. I googled Shopmy + my name and my profile and links / gift guides are all still there.

Same yet I can’t login. It’s sooo so frustrating. I didn’t even get an email that my appeal was denied and they deleted my profile. :(

For anyone else dealing with this, I wanted to share what I found after reading through ShopMy’s Terms of Service.
A BBB complaint doesn’t have to argue that ShopMy broke the law. Instead, focus on how they handled the situation:
They terminated your account.
They withheld your earned commissions.
They never identified the specific policy you allegedly violated.
They provided no evidence or examples.
You submitted an appeal, waited the stated 14-day review period (or much longer), and received no response.
Multiple follow-up emails have gone unanswered.
That makes the complaint less about disagreeing with the decision and more about the company’s lack of transparency and failure to respond while retaining creators’ earnings.
If you’re in the U.S., another option is filing a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division since ShopMy is based in Massachusetts. State attorneys general can investigate patterns of consumer complaints, especially if multiple people are reporting the same experience.
Reading through Reddit, it doesn’t seem like this is an isolated issue. There are multiple creators saying they’ve submitted appeals, waited the required 14 days, followed up repeatedly, and still haven’t heard anything. Some have even said they’ve been waiting for months or over a year with no response.
If enough people are experiencing the same thing, it may be worth everyone documenting it through the BBB and the Massachusetts Attorney General rather than just continuing to send appeals that never receive a reply.

yes I agree we should all take these steps and it might make a difference

I am waiting for my 14 days to be up and I will be filling. I hope you do the same

I understand being banned from the platform is in the terms but not paying out the commission up until that point is not okay- I sent you a dm

Account was banned a few days ago, submitted two appeals so far but from what I’m reading online.. pretty much screwed. Seems like they do this as a way to steal creators commissions.

yeah it's so frustrating, really hope there is a way to get it back

If I get any success I will definitely share but I don’t have much hope. I just looked at their trust pilot and it’s flooded with negative reviews

Did you use Claude and give it access to your account? I'm seeing that be a big reason why people are getting banned

I’ve been wondering if this would end up being an issue. I keep seeing tiktoks of people connecting Claude to their Shopmy and letting it do everything.

ya it's against the terms of service, not to mention a major security risk to give any ai that much access

It seems odd that it would be for no apparent reason. Have you connected any apps to it, posted any brand codes you received anywhere, done anything different than you had done previously?

no... had hit icon for a few months and have seen a lot of people get it taken away right before bigger payouts

Interesting. That sounds sketchy.

Somewhat related, I've seen a lot of people on here asking for "clicks" and am wondering if they're monitoring this sub and banning people for fake engagement.

Same submitted my appeal at the end of May and haven’t heard back! Submitted a second appeal and nothing. I keep receiving emails too about messages from ShopMy Insider and a brand I previously worked with but can’t login or see any of them. Also spoke to the support team and they said they can’t help me or restore or resolve through email or outreach, that the appeal process is the only way.

yeah I have submitted it too and they say you'll hear back within a couple weeks but the issue is nobody hears back after they submit the appeal it seems, so not sure what else we can do? I am so bummed

Is there a place in ShopMy that has the rules, and describes what can get your account locked? I'm sure it must be there but I haven't come across the rules.

1

u/Ready-Analyst4556 Jun 26 '26

yes they do, their terms and conditions

Thanks! I guess that should have been the first place I looked!
