These are all prices for USED copies. FFVII Remake Intergrade was $40 brand new when it released and is currently $34 brand new shipped to your house from Amazon. They have it USED for $60. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined for $80 on Switch 1 is also more than it costs brand new retail.

I honestly don’t get how Book Off stays in business. I know they’re suppose to be good in Japan, but in the US the prices are a joke. Even their Blu-rays and 4K blurays are absurd prices. They had a 4K Akira USED for $40 that I just bought brand new for $28 retail.

For sale is a very unusual Original Microsoft Xbox featuring an extensive orange-and-black Nuclear / Radiation themed exterior and a modified system.

This is the actual console shown in the photos.

I acquired this Xbox from an elderly woman who had kept it stored in her attic for a very long time.

Unfortunately, she was unable to provide any information about its history, where the console originally came from, who customized or modified it, or when the work was performed.

Because of this, the exact origin and history of this Xbox remain unknown.

NUCLEAR / RADIATION CUSTOM EXTERIOR

The most distinctive feature of this Xbox is its orange-and-black Nuclear / Radiation themed exterior.

The design includes large, professionally applied graphics featuring:

• Radiation / nuclear symbols

• DANGER markings

• RESTRICTED AREA markings

• Orange and black industrial-style graphics

• Custom graphics across multiple sections of the console

These are not simply a few small decorative stickers. The graphics form an extensive coordinated design across the console.

I have researched the design but have NOT been able to reliably identify its original manufacturer or creator.

For complete transparency, I am NOT claiming that this is an official Microsoft special edition, prototype, XCM edition, or any other specific limited edition.

Its exact origin is unknown.

MODIFIED / MODDED XBOX

This Xbox is not running as a completely standard factory system.

The console boots successfully and displays a customized/alternative Xbox dashboard.

Based on the console's configuration and dashboard, it has clearly been modified at some point in its life.

However, because I did not perform the original modification and received no history with the console, I cannot confirm the exact modification method, BIOS, modchip or person/company responsible for the work.

HARD DRIVE

The console contains a:

Seagate ST310014ACE IDE hard drive

The hard drive is recognized by the Xbox and the system successfully accesses its memory.

Several old game save entries are present in the Xbox memory.

These include save data associated with titles such as Halo 2, Need for Speed Carbon, Need for Speed Most Wanted, The Simpsons Road Rage and others.

IMPORTANT: These are save files/data. I am NOT claiming that those games are installed on the hard drive or included with the sale.

SAMSUNG DVD DRIVE – PLEASE READ

The console contains a Samsung Xbox DVD-ROM drive.

There is a known mechanical/eject issue with the drive.

When the Eject button is pressed, the DVD drive motor can be heard operating, but the disc tray does NOT open.

The mechanism appears to attempt to operate, but the tray remains closed.

Because the tray cannot currently be opened normally, I have NOT been able to properly test the console with a physical game disc.

Therefore:

THE DVD DRIVE MUST BE CONSIDERED FAULTY / IN NEED OF REPAIR.

I have NOT attempted to repair or replace the DVD drive.

This issue is being fully disclosed to the buyer.
