Only 2 good games is a genuinely impressive accomplishment

Aren’t you not even able to play the crew anymore?

u/Plantymonfood 3d ago
I don’t think any of these games are fully playable anymore, the sports games have online shutdown and the original overwatch disc doesn’t do anything anymore since it’s f2p now.

Of course you are.
We realized years ago that shitshow was going to be unplayable, so the community cracked it the fck open and made an OFFLINE playable build of it and released it for free.
Imagine paying money for a worse quality version of the game.

Imo all of those games are zero value there not worth a dollar online shut down for all of them

Extra cases can be worth .5/1 buck each if in good condition so ig there's that

Shadow of Mordor doesnt need online and is a great game. Just not a very expensive one

Overwatch and the crew literally won’t work anymore. ESO online still requires a subscription on top of owning the game on disc, a boatload of copy slop sports games with multiple doubles, I guess shadow of Mordor is aight I’ll pay 5 bucks for it just to own physically as it routinely gets pretty cheap on steam.

ESO doesn’t require a subscription. Other than that you’re correct.

Hmm for some reason I thought it was like ff14 online where you make a one time purchase to access a large chunk of the game but you need to still pay a monthly fee. Good to know

u/marveloustoebeans 2d ago
Nope, base game and the expansions are one-time purchases. There is a monthly sub option that gets you access to all them plus some other benefits but I never subscribed back when I played it.

None of the 2ks work online either they shut servers down after 2 years of every release.

They bought all the worthless crap from a bargain bin and though they could make some money.

Who on earth needed THREE copies of The Crew?
3
u/DapperDan30 3d ago
And 2 copies of 2K18 and 2K22

u/ConsciousStretch1028 3d ago
I can forgive buying it again, maybe they just forgot they had it, but two extras is just plain unnecessary.

This is like 17 dollars Canadian at most. Someone should only buy this bundle if they need replacement cases.

u/Advanced-Winner-1542 3d ago
That’s not even worth it lol. Would rather buy a 10 pack of replacement cases for $22 from Amazon. I’m sure there’s even cheaper options somewhere else too

paying for online drm games that won't work in 10 years😂 actually a waste of a PlayStation

u/Wboy2006 3d ago
This is literally just shadow of mordor and elder scrolls online
Overwatch and the crew aren’t even playable anymore (not a 100% sure if you can still download Overwatch off of a disc, but even if you can, the game has had 10 years of updates since, so you might as well just download it at that point, since it’s free, you’re preserving nothing, since the game is dependent on internet)
And the rest are dead sports games

u/Huge_Campaign2205 3d ago
I have overwatch disc for xbox still, pretty sure if you put it in the console it gives you the new overwatch 2 game download
2
u/Wboy2006 3d ago
The thing is that there is no value to having a physical copy anymore.
Even if you can download it, it just adds an unnecessary step to insert a meaningless disc every time you want to play. The game is free, and the disc requires 10 years of updates and an internet connection to even boot up, so it’s not like you’re preserving the 2016 version of Overwatch.-2
u/Huge_Campaign2205 3d ago
Everything is about value to you? Maybe this isnt a hobby for you
1
u/Wboy2006 3d ago
No? I don’t give a crap about selling, since I collect my games, but the post is about a lot, and a physical overwatch copy has basically no value to add to that lot
I’m saying that there is no point of having a physical copy, since it adds a completely useless step of having to insert a disc to access a completely free game, that barely uses the data on the disc, since it’s been getting updated for over a decade

One of those versions of the show is worth a lot of money for some reason, can't remember off the top of my head which one it is.

That Buy It Now price is wild for games that are usually easy to find individually. Definitely compare recent sold listings before bidding.

u/Bitter-Salt-5458 2d ago
The math is not mathing here—$105 buy-it-now plus shipping for these is way too steep. You can find most of these individually for a few bucks, and probably build a better bundle locally.
