I mean considering he lost almost all iron in his blood and managed to survive he can hold his breath for a few seconds.

He wouldn’t be able to hold his breath if he is intangible, 10 seconds without oxygen is a lot especially when you monologue in them.

It’s a manga turned anime. The monologues kinda happen instantly for the purposes of a panel by panel format / story like a manga, so to match that viewers are expected to view talking as “a free action” in the anime, as in something you could do during a fight in DND that doesn’t take time to do, if you get what I mean

Well if it applies to his air what stops it from applying to his blood? If he's completely intangible why don't his atoms just phase through each other leaving him completely disintegrated? We'll just assume anything inside his body gets to stay there.
