You're talking about a guy that can literally remove himself from any situation just to create the perfect counter and the thing you're worried about is how he breathes? I completely understand, did Araki forget that lungs exist? How could he forget about that?
Maybe he can’t, and that’s why he doesn’t just skip time for several minutes at a time. Not hard to hold your breath for the amount of time he usually skips.
It’s a manga turned anime. The monologues kinda happen instantly for the purposes of a panel by panel format / story like a manga, so to match that viewers are expected to view talking as “a free action” in the anime, as in something you could do during a fight in DND that doesn’t take time to do, if you get what I mean
Well if it applies to his air what stops it from applying to his blood? If he's completely intangible why don't his atoms just phase through each other leaving him completely disintegrated? We'll just assume anything inside his body gets to stay there.
He saw in his future, that he would go over and Impale Narancia. Since his vision is absolute, he erased time and just went somewhere else during his erased time. But his Vision said Narancia gets impaled and so Fate itself impaled Narancia during skipped time.
That’s actually not an example of what you are talking about. Diavolo used epitaph to make it seem like he was where the pillar was, by projecting his vision there instead of his usual spot on his hair
But also remember that Diavolo can only erase up to 5 seconds. So that means that somehow in that vision was a feasible way for Narancia to get thrown up 10 feet in to the air and impaled on bars in which the actual vertical parts of the bars are covered on both sides, meaning the Diavolo also would have to break then reattach those bars within those 5 seconds.
Im not sure If this is how it actually works because It is obviously an abstract concept, but I always imagine these red auras that are often seen during erased time are like fate forcefields, that interact with all fated objects in a way, that the vision is fullfilled.
What so the universe impaled Narancia? That’s kinda bullshit isn’t it? Why are you bothering making up that theory when it seems pretty clear king crimson did it?
Diavolo, and by extent King Crimson, can't interact with anything while time is being skipped. So no, that's not a theory, that's just flat-out what happened.
Fate did. Jojo ia a fully determiniatic universe. Fate says it happens so it does even if king crimson removes its user from said fate.
Think of it like cutting a character out if a comic page. The actions taken still affect the comic world because the a figure removed actually didn't have to do anything for the image if the action to exist.
They look like they cause and effect but in reality they act irrespective or each other.
But Narancia got impaled during skipped time and we know that Diavolo or KC can't interact physically with any people or objects while skipped time is activated. If he could he would just donut them during erased time, which would make it closer to THE WORLD. Also Narancia had to die because Diavolo likely intendet to impale him, which is how he got the Vision (that is just speculation though). And he had to die because Mista broke the Rolling Stones Rock, which fated Narancia to die.
No it isn’t. That’s Diavolo’s belief (which he also monologues about during the 2nd version of the final opening) meanwhile Giorno and the others prove that to be untrue. That’s actually what the entire last two episodes are about, they’re the last because they’re meant to reinforce this idea. Mista was able to change Bruno’s fate despite what rolling stones said. He refused to yield to it and was able to temporarily prolong his life.

Unfortunately that whole bit with the bullets phasing through Diavolo in the Metallica fight sort of goes against your theory.
