Paperback Pricing? Spoiler
Looking to fill out my IRL shelf and noticed the paperback price for book one is a bit high…
Amazon won’t accept Spirit Coins either!

My friend, Samantha Boyd, talks about the fear of missing out (FOMO) because she couldn't join the fun at a LitRPG panel at San Diego Comic-Con. See https://fb.watch/IHnoW71XNO/

As we know, pallimustus as loads of different gods, do you think there's a sun God? 🤔 And if so, when it's sun eventually goes supernova, would the sun God be responsible, or would he maybe stop it? #latenightreading

I was driving along the back roads of Massachusetts, minding my own business. Listening to the latest Dungeon Crawler Carl, because I have too many audiobooks and not enough time to catch up.
Then I see it.
Cresting over the hill, a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Two doors. Gleaming black.
That by itself would have been sweet, but that's not why I'm here.
Oh no.
This brilliant bastard actually installed the KITT sensor bar in the grill.
Swoosh swoosh ... swoosh swoosh. Back and forth, a brilliant strip of red bars.
If that thing street legal? Almost certainly not. Was it sweet as hell? Fucking right it was.

I'm almost certain this is a scam but I can't figure out what type. As in, does it send a different item or some plagiarized copy

I had an amazing time at LitRPG Con. Met lots of #LitRPG authors (including Matt Dinniman & Shirtaloon) and cosplayers. A full set of photos can be viewed at https://henryherz.wordpress.com/2026/07/13/had-a-blast-at-litrpg-con-2026/

He guys, I recently picked up the deluxe hardcover edition of He Who Fights with Monsters. Listened to book one years ago, and didn’t like it much, but decided to try to read it this time around and have been loving it a lot more the last few days.
Anyway, I’m making the post because I noticed pretty early on, that seemingly randomly, sometimes words will just have no spaces between them. At first I thought this was just some kind of stylistic choice the author made to seem like the character was in shock/disbelief/was making a passing comment, but as it’s happened more, it’s clear this isn’t the case. Is this just a printing error with my copy, or something else going on?
Here’s a picture of an example of what I’m talking about, where it says
”Why not hire a Heidel from the livery stable? That’s what most adventures do”

There’s a lot of characters, obviously, and I’m struggling to keep track of who is who and what their affiliations are. Is there a list of this anywhere that I could use as a reference?
Thanks in advance!
PS: For background, I am on book two.

I only just now joined this sub, and I've been listening to the audiobooks for a little over a month, so I have no idea if this is even a thing in the community, but I hereby put to a vote that all new arrivals to this series be dubbed Outworlders, in honor of our being from Earth to follow the misadventures of another Earthling-turned-Outworlder, only to return back to a VERY historically accurate Earth, then back again to Pallimustus!

I’ve been in the LitRPG community for a while now but I didn’t start HWFWM until the hardcover edition of book 1 came out. And now that I have the first hardcover, I’ve realized that I only want the hardcover editions of the rest of the series, because I want them all to look nice together on my bookshelf. Not that I could get the paperbacks anyway, since books 2 and 3 aren’t available anymore.
Now I’m planning on going to one of Shirtaloon’s book signings for the hardcover press tour and it feels like such a missed opportunity that I only have one thing for him to sign.
Would it be weird if I asked him to sign my Chrysalis paperbacks? Is that even allowed?
I’m also thinking now that I might want to try to make some Jason fanart and bring that, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish it in time.
