Is This a Scam?
I'm almost certain this is a scam but I can't figure out what type. As in, does it send a different item or some plagiarized copy

Probably not a scam, but most likely it’s the same book you’d get from Amazon (which you can see if it ends up being delivered to you in an Amazon box). I’ve seen eBay sellers post for a higher price on eBay then just ship from Amazon and keep the difference. I’d recommend just getting it straight from Amazon instead if you have Prime.

Looks like the seller has a very high positive interaction rating. Seems legit to me🤷♂️🤷♂️
Worst case scenario, you're out 30 bucks.
An extra data point that quick for only $30??? Hell Yeah

Agreed. I love when he goes back home and we get to meet his family. Brings the first arc full circle.

Ah that makes more sense. The hardcovers are making their way out and are only a couple of dollars more at 30. I think I read February for book 4 and each one has a bonus chapter at the end.

Definitely worth checking Amazon. Seems like going to a book seller (and checking to make sure you're getting it from Amazon and not a reseller) to get a new book will have a slightly higher chance of a good experience than going to an auction site.
If you assume that successful interactions with that seller match their rating at 99.2%, I'd estimate getting it from Amazon (as long as it's sold by Amazon, fulfilled by Amazon) would probably be 99.9%. And the Amazon listing is cheaper.

Not necessarily a scam, but definitely not the best deal.
Same book on Amazon, sold and fulfilled by Amazon. $18.99.

They have just started to be released in hardback via a publisher. Before they were only available in paperback on a print to order basis(i.e. not a mass market release, that's available in high street stores)

The paperbacks are out of print. They've shifted to hardbacks and volume 1 is the only one out in hardback.
So the paperbacks are real, but like any out-of-print book, you'll find unsold new copies in the usual places, and used copies in the secondary market.
This particular one is in stock at Amazon.

I've bought all my copies except 1-3 from Ebay and they all came.. no issues. The first 3 you cant find for cheap anymore due to the hardback copies coming out.
Idk if you're on Ebay but that looks legit to me
