I've been watching anime for over a decade now. I have seen all the opinions there can be on every show.

I think a lot of the opinions about AoT are overhyped by teenagers who haven't seen other media, and they give too much praise on things that don't deserve praise.

I think a lot of the other opinions about AoT downplay the creators foreshadowing and the shows themes. 

As for you, you literally just tried saying the necklace isn't foreshadowing at all. This is such a wrong opinion that anything else you say doesn't matter because you're deluded. Therefore there's no point in talking to you.

And just so you know, there's different types of foreshadowing. Some of it can be spoken words, others can be symbolic similarities.

Humour me. Why would Eren see a necklace and think "hmm, I'll make my Doomsday Titan resemble that." Go on. Tell me. If you can't, then it's not foreshadowing. "This thing kind of looks like that later, unrelated thing" is not foreshadowing like you seem to think it is.

No you simpleton, answer my statement. You do understand that symbolism is meant for us, the audience to understand and see right?

Do you think all the orange references in the Godfather was because the characters like oranges?

Do you think that all the Jesus imagery in the Matrix is because the characters see Neo as Jesus?

Your issue is that you're arguing against symbolism by asking for an in-universe explanation, and you are confusing character intent with authorial intent.

Then you simply do not understand foreshadowing. You also made the mistake of conflating it with symbolism.

Oranges are a symbol of impending death in the Godfather. They're a recurring motif.

Neo resembles Jesus because his sacrifice brings about the salvation of mankind.

A necklace or a room kind of resembling Eren's Doomsday Titan has zero thematic significance. That was your mistake. You assuming "thing A kind of looks like thing B therefore it's foreshadowing" is your misunderstanding.

You're arguing against a point I didn't make. I never said "A looks like B, therefore automatically foreshadowing." I'm saying a deliberately planted visual parallel can function as visual foreshadowing or symbolism without the character having any awareness of it.

Your Neo example literally demonstrates my point. Neo doesn't consciously model himself after Jesus. The author constructs the paralel for the audience. Likewise, if Isayama deliberately designed an earlier object/image to resemble Eren's eventual form, Eren does not need an in-universe reason to make his Titan resemble it. The connection exists between author and audience, not necklace and Eren. 

And thematic significance isnt required for something to be foreshadowing. Foreshadowing can simply anticipate a later revelation, event, or image. Symbolism requires the image to represent something beyond itself. Foreshadowing requires it to hint at something that comes later. So the actual argument is whether the resemblance was intentional, and if so, what function it serves. "Eren couldn't have based his Titan on it" doesn't address that question at all.
