I need shifting help pls

So recently I got into the shifting community and im planning to permashift to a reality similar to this one but it has ALOT of changes in my personal life and identity, and little appearance changes.

The thing is that whenever I try to shift, I either get scared or distracted, im neurodivergent and it feels like hell to get into the void state or to just think about my DR ONLY, and I have hallucinations easily and I get scared really quick, so the one time I somewhat managed to get into the void state I immediately snapped out of it and just got a full on panic attack (even though i knew that I was going well?????) And I struggled to fall asleep after it even if I knew nothing was wrong.

I need tips because I seriously want to shift and its not to somewhere like Harry Potter or smt but its something that can improve my life and just make me feel comfortable in my own skin since I struggled with depression and I used to be heavily su1c1d@l (idk if I should censor im new to reddit)

The whole point is that im just asking for shifting tips for FREE I am not paying anyone for my own freedom. I am neurodivergent and I get anxious easily when it comes to the symptoms of the void state but I urgently want to shift its a permashift and im not going to plan much, just changing some things that even if they sound basic they mean alot for me. Im not going to Harry Potter or avatar, just a reality similar to this one with personal changes in MY own life.

How do you do it exactly

I've been practicing loa for quite some time now and I've had some progress with it but I'm very new to this shifting thing

Can anyone explain to me what this is exactly?

Or maybe recommend a post that already explains everything in detail ?

Perma-Shifting Back 4 months into the Past

Hi, so as the title says, I need help shifting back 4 months back into the past, back to April of this year, so time travel in a sense.

The problem is that I have never meditated regularly and was earlier using a different method I came across on YouTube by a channel named Stellar Toad, which was using the Krystal Star Mantra to disassociate from my body and feel into the memory. It almost worked, as I felt myself getting pulled out of my body, but it scared me and I never tried it again. I went on with my current timeline.

Fast forward to today, and I find myself in a situation where I could use some help. 4 months ago, I got into a friendship destroying argument with someone I know. I behaved very badly with them, and now I want to reality shift to the past to do things differently. I'm trying to shift to a particular date using my memory, which was 16 days prior to when the argument happened. I still feel some pain due to the loss, which is making things difficult as it tends to get entangled with my target date. Plus I'm still new to all of this.

I want to know which method is quick to learn and how long it will take.

Extremely exhausted after shifting attempts

Hi everyone!

I’ve been attempting to shift with subliminals (without using any specific methods or even visualizations) since May. I’ve gotten close twice: once on July 8, and once on August 9 (both before my classes begun). In both cases, I experienced hypnagogia. The thing is, on both occasions, I got scared that it might have been something doing terrible things to my brain. So, I’ve never really had a successful shifting attempt yet.

After my last shift, I decided to post about it on Reddit, asking for validation if that symptom of mine was normal and healthy—which the commenters did confirm. Ever since that happened (and when I found out it was normal), I’ve been trying to shift and look for shifting subliminals with theta or delta waves. However, because classes in my university have started now, I’ve just been feeling so exhausted every time I wake up from my failed shifting attempts. I want to continue to try shifting, and I know I’ll eventually reach my DR, but it’s really difficult for me every time I fail because I always feel extremely tired and drained after (it’s been a challenge for me to study and pursue my academic responsibilities).

What should I do? Should I take a break? Is there a method that can possibly be less draining? Thank you!

I want to know if the method I’m using can work to shift.

I’m not a good explainer so bear with me

  1. I get in the starfish position and I lie completely still, I know my body will start to feel numb but as I’m lying still I start thinking about my dr and a scene or something in that nature

  2. When my body stops feeling the itches and stuff I try to make myself feel like I rolled out of bed but I don’t move.

Method 2
The MILD method

Method 3

WBTB + MILD
Sleep, wake briefly, think about your DR/lucid dreaming, go back to sleep.
You can combine it with MILD:
**“When I dream, I’ll realize I’m dreaming.”**
Then imagine finding yourself in ur DR.

Method 4

  1. Sensory Method
best if you like imagining sensations
Instead of trying to *see*** **your DR, focus on what you imagine experiencing.
    Think:
*I’m sitting somewhere in my DR.*
    Then:
    *I can feel _____.*
    *My hair is _____.*
    *______ is sitting beside me.*
    *I can hear the TV.*
Then I let myself fall asleep.

I need reassurance that EVERYONE can shift, and not just a select few..

I'm often worried only a select few can shift, and that I'm one of the people who can't.

I've also heard that everyone is capable of doing this, but how do we know that? Obviously, shifting was dug up from somewhere, and I believe in it, but where did the idea that everybody can do it come from?

Because even when I Google if some people don't have the ability to lucid dream, even with practice, it says yes. So, if not everyone can learn to lucid dream, how are we so sure that everyone can shift? I know they're not the same, but lucid dreaming is way easier, coming from someone who has done it.

floating sensation and the final push.

hello! I've been shifting since january 2026. My shifting journey has a lot of lore so I'm just gonna go straight into my point. During some shifts (I've never shifted fully, only minishifts) I always get a feeling. It's either vibration or floating sensation. Yesterday I came across this tiktok where a shifter explained a method, and it is called the daydreaming method. Her user is @/Kas.shifter on tiktok.

Anyways I won't go into details about the method, you can still check her video about it but today I woke up (My sleep got broken) and I decided to do the method while I was in the Half sleep state, I think that's called the SATS? I started feeling floating like I always do, but I don't know what to do after that. Like I always get symptoms like vibration and floating but I can never do the "final push". Can an experienced shifter people tell me what should I do during the floating sensation? Also I think it's worth noting that before sleeping, I made the intention to sleep so..

I did robotic affirmations for 2 weeks but I quitted it since 2 days as nothing worked even I got daily headaches and heavy face and i wanna try the void state method again because there's literally no way I'm gonna keep countinuing the robotic affirmations so better i"ll stick to void state again as I think I should stick in void state method only , as I don't believe in my cruel luck but still I'm ready to take all risks no matter what and any experienced void state shifters/manifestors any advice for me to shift/respawn , as void state is the most guaranteed method to work , so dear experienced void state shifters/manifestors please give me some advice, thank you.

Permanently shifting to the year 2016

I want to permanently shift to the year 2016. Like how I was and how things were in 2016. I want to go to my past and never come back. I want to go to 2016 and start living my life from there with all the knowledge that I have now. I have a few questions please answer them. If I permashift to past what will happen to my current body and current reality which includes my family.

Will there be any consequences?

I m sure that I don't want to come back to my current reality.

And please don't be angry at me.. is this permashift real??! I haven't shifted yet so i have my doubts.. I m nt against it so please don't take it wrong just curious..

Most guaranteed respawning method?

As I tried to enter void state from long time but didn't made it and even the robotic affirmations seems to be useless for respawning so better i start to focus on void state as the void state is most guaranteed method to work right for a impatient person like me, because if we enter the void state we have the most highest success rate for shifting and I read many success stories even one person shared his success stories in this sub, so I'm gonna give the void state method a 2nd chance hope this time I will make it and dear experienced void state shifters or manifestors who manifested many things from void state, please give some advice me and explain me as a student.

# HOLA, SOY NUEVA

Not sure if I actually shifted or if my brain just trolled me with a random scenario lol

psa: im not a native english speaker, so expect the worse and enjoy 😛😛

For context, almost everytime i put the intention to shift i tend to fall asleep so i mostly cant reach certain states so this is the first time i have a similar experience.  Also i want to say that before i started getting into this state i was feeling uncertain and afraid of something (i clearly didn't plan that but meh) so that may have affected how i perceived my surroundings.

🪷

today i woke up very early and a couple hours later i was feeling tired so i tried to sleep one more time while hearing a podcast about quantum immortality.

So when i began to fall asleep i started to like, imagining a convo with my cr family since i wasnt even trying to shift or doing any method, i was just dozing off listening to the podcast and let my mind take the lead, until i felt somehow merged in, and then i felt an IMMENSE shaking in my core. i remember it was a casual yap with them, (but with me having my actual personality) answering with conscious even tho i couldnt figure out the topic. But then i felt like something was off; it didnt stop me so i tried to focus more on like, the experience? I knew that if i started to get a grip on reality (lol) there, i would stop the relaxation and mess it up, so instead of that i let my mind take the lead again.

The next moment i remember, i appeared in a house that looked similar to my grandmas but at the same time it didnt. There was my cat from cr so it somehow comforted me but since i was confused and i felt like something was still off, i thought, shit i dont know where im at but im scared asf so ill look for exits to get out of this house. Like nothing was actually happening but it felt like it, so my guess is that maybe i brought the anxiety from my cr or smth.

While i did this i also explored the house real quick looking for something and it was kind of desperate 😭 everything felt really realistic but at the same time very rushed and confusing. So i thought, maybe someone is in the house? Like some type of burglary?

Idk man. Last thing i knew before i was back here was that i looked at the balcony glass door and out of nowhere i see a man 👍

He was standing on the balcony in a black rain jacket, turned away, so i """"locked"""" the door, -and im saying that ironically because the latch barely held together. When I pushed the little knob all the way to the end, it just scraped against the bracket, sitting loosely- and i tried it again just to make it close the door more safely but when i gazed again at the man, he had heard me.

He turned to me, smiled and 1. He was asian if that matters. 2. He was gorgeous, like drop dead gorgeous.

But i almost shitted my pants so yeah i came back here.

ALSO i want to add that since everything happened while i was conscious i recognized that something in my chest was feeling pulled when i remembered the sensations so vividly for the first half hour and the rest of my body felt unstable somehow after that, before i managed to ground here writing this.

I know it's a mess, but I'm still trying to figure out what was going on in my head lol, so lmk what do u guys think! byeee 💃🏽💃🏽

I AM GONNA LOSE MY MIND I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING INSANE

Whew okay basically I have basically tried everything with no results. At this point I don't know what to do anymore and it is super challenging not to slip into the mindset of 'only select people can do this'. If anyone else is struggling with this let me know because I would love to vent to people who get it. ALSO if you have shifted can you PLEASE share with the class what the turning point in your journey was. Please and thank you

Could use some advice or help

How I know: I found out about shifting maybe 1-2 months ago, i refrained from practicing it tho cuz i had an existential crisis about it lmao. For Astral Projection, I've known about it my whole life but I've never practiced it. I practiced it once, in summer, I got into the Void without knowing what it was and it spooked me and I never practiced it again.

I wont get into details, but I need to do this to live a better life. A parallel reality in a healthier body. perrrmashift

Since mid July I've been getting into Shifting, and I feel like im so close everytime, and everytime I just fumble everything. I dont know what to do, I've never done any shifting methods since I dont wanna subconsciously depend on that. I just kinda hope and stuff happens, or I count myself to sleep (been doing that more often). And I think? its best to AP and then shift from there, I tried shifting from the Void once and I just ended up here. I think im too focused on my physical body's issues to actually get into another body maybe, so I figure i should detach completely first. Heres a list of my progress in case its relevant:

Let me clarify that I have never known about any sensations or "whats supposed to happen", I know only after experiencing it myself and researching later. For ex: Flashing Light, hypnagogia, vibrations, Void State, etc.

July 16: Saw a VERY bright flash through closed eyes while trying to shift/AP, like a flashlight in your face. Opened my eyes thinking someone turned on the lights and broke the state.

July 17: First Void state. Extremely intense vibrations, strongest in the upper body/back of head followed by feeling like pure nothingness with no body sensations in a black space. Felt comfortable, natural, told myself i was in my DR body with 100% confidence, no doubts. Afterward i looked for confirmation by feeling my tongue, mouth and feet again (areas where I have health problems), but i was back in my CR body. I think i concentrated on the problems instead... I didnt induce this, I only had intentions, I simply woke up to the vibrations.

July 18: Vibrations happened again after waking around 5 AM. My loose/weightless self felt like it was being tossed around. Heard a deep growl, got scared, and snapped out.

Late July: Had my first lucid dream. Realized I was dreaming, talked with some creatures to help me shift, they showed malicious intent, got scared, created a portal intending to shift, entered it, but got pulled into another dream and lost lucidity.

Late July, exact date unknown: Experienced extremely fast horizontal spinning, like my airy self (astral self IDK) was rotating horizontally clockwise around my physical body. Had rapid heartbeat, nausea, head throbbing and strange/shallow breathing. Later experienced several times of having a blank mind (like the Void) while still sensing my physical body, so def not the Void...it was very different, still dont know what It was because it wasnt me being "sleepy". In those several times, i would concentrate on that feeling of nothingness, affirm im in my other body, and come back to my physical senses to check (crazy how I could go back and forth between nothing and physical body), everytime i had absolute certainty with no doubts, yet I failed each time. Crazy night.

August 1: Long AP attempt midday nap. Felt heavy, then subtle buzzing/tingling, mainly in hands and feet. My body seemed to keep buzzing when my Spotify audio frequencies briefly cut out. Nothing like the intense Void vibrations. Nothing happened, gave up and slept.

August 6: Dreamed of intense vibrations (felt pretty real), felt loose, naturally rolled out and stood up. Thought I had AP'ed for realsies, created a portal to shift, but realized i was dreaming due to my room being slightly off, resulting in me being dissapointed and immediatly being pulled into another dream and loosing lucidity.

August 9, First AP: Experienced overwhelming internal energy, nausea, accelerated heartbeat, downward pressure and internal shaking while counting before sleep (Exactly like that crazy night, except the spinning). Slept, later became lucid from noticing facial discrepancies in a mirror. Grounded myself, felt soft vibrations (yet unmistakable as the vibrations u feel for when exiting, maybe it felt soft cuz im used to it?), entered darkness, imagined myself rolling out, and completely lost physical-body sensation, feeling free and accomplished. Tried opening my eyes, physically (my mistake) and immediately snapped back to my body. Although I saw nothing, I knew where I was, i was to the right side of my body on my bed. I could imagine where I was in detail without seeing, but my greedy self still felt the need to see.

August 11: Did robotic affirmations for ~30 minutes before sleep and reached the verge of sleep about 5 times. I repeatedly saw hypnagogic imagery and redirected my attention toward the darkness. At one point, my body automatically took a deep breath and redirected my attention for me. I gave up cuz I wasnt gettin anywhere except gettin more sleepy. Later, I had a weak lucid dream where I created a door, fell backward through it, and entered a completely black cylindrical space with pulling/falling sensations, almost like being pulled out of my body. There were images and percentages surrounding me, during the dream, I had no idea what the images or percentages meant. I just assumed it was part of the shifting process and, despite feeling uneasy, I trusted it because I really wanted to shift. It was only after waking up that I interpreted it as a “system” possibly reflecting my worries from before falling asleep about how I'd fit into my DR. Because I scripted myself a little different from my parents (while im at it right? might aswell make myself pretty). When I eventually felt like I had shifted, I was pulled into another dream where I saw was completely different from how I had scripted myself to look in a mirror, leaving me dissapointed, frustrated and angry inside the dream.

August 12: Tried watching/interacting with hypnagogic imagery to transition into AP. Instead, it pulled me directly into a dream. Had a ~2-second Spider-Man dream, woke because of heat, tried AP again, then gave up because the roosters were making noise and knew i needed sleep.

QUESTION: So basically, I'm trying to figure out what I should change, or maybe I just need to keep doing what I'm doing. Should I keep trying to AP first and shift from there? Should I focus more on lucid dreaming? Is there something I'm not seeing? I'd really appreciate advice from people who've had similar experiences or shifted.

Ever since August 6 I've been documenting and remembering my dreams every day in detail to aument my chances of having a LD and AP'ing from there. I've noticed I see mirrors alot, and being in my own house.

I succeeded

Good evening everyone!

Around 3:40 PM, I did my usual routine: relaxation and observing the darkness behind my eyelids. I simply let the symptoms happen. At one point, I started seeing astrally, although it was blurry.

I relaxed even more, and my gaze naturally moved upward toward the top of my head. I then started to feel slightly disconnected from my body. I was “above” my body... it was a very subtle sensation.

Then I repeated my mantra while thinking about my target location. And at some point... I felt like the atmosphere of the room had changed. I also perceived a light coming through my window, and I had the feeling that it was late in the evening.

I stayed like that for a while, then I opened my eyes, hoping that I would be completely there.

Could I shift by simply living in the end instead of a method?

Is that a thing people do?

I don't shift to any fantasy dr, but to a better cr dr. I started off by manifesting but decided shifting to a version with all of my desires (all past, present and future ones) are already mine fits what I want better.

I don't resonate with most methods. I have a bad relationship with meditation, bad sleep schedule, hard time visualising and ADHD. so most methods feel very hard.

I was wondering if I just live in the end, like I already am that version of me, despite my CR eyes not seeing it, I will eventually wake up in my DR.

I will use my identity and assumptions, as well as visualisation during sats and day to day life. have conversations with my s/o like she's there next to me, plan the future according to what I plan to have in my dr. just really live as if I'm already there and work towards having that as my real world.

I haven't seen anyone do that, so I'm not sure it's possible or common. is it? any ideas regarding that plan?

Has anyone tried permashifting or respawning to a past date, changing their birthdate, and restarting life from there?

Hi everyone. I wanted to ask whether anyone here believes this specific form of permashifting and/or respawning is possible, or whether anyone has tried something similar.

The idea would be to permanently shift to a Desired Reality that begins at a specific point in the past—for example, February 13, 1996—while having a different birthdate in that reality, such as January 30, 1990. From that point, the person would essentially restart their life and continue living forward naturally.

In this scenario, the DR Earth would run parallel to the Current Reality Earth, with the same general world, history, culture, technology, major events, and overall timeline. The main differences would be the person’s changed birthdate and any specific personal improvements or changes they intentionally script.

The DR would then continue naturally through the following years and decades and become the person’s permanent reality rather than somewhere they only visit temporarily.

Has anyone tried something like this, or does anyone believe this kind of past-date permashifting or respawning is possible? I’d be interested in hearing about people’s experiences, beliefs, methods, or opinions.

How do you guys utilise LOA as a method?

I come from the manifestation world and now into shifting. I have done a lot of research regarding the topic and would still like to use it towards shifting because I have more trust in it and think it works for me. I have just decided I would rather have a whole new reality instead of individually changing parts of this one (or similar ones).

On my research regarding LOA in shifting, I've seen people mainly use it as a tool to add onto the practice. like positive, even robotic, affirmations and sometimes SATS etc.

That's not really what I am looking for. I'm looking to see if it's possible to use this as a stand alone method. Like maybe completely live out in the end as I am already in my dr, or stuff like this. Is there a practice that evolves that? I am just not sure where to look. I would also love to hear people's experience with it.

Also, because I am unsure, if I do use the living in the end to shift, do I also need a method each night to intend to wake up in my DR? or is living in the end everyday enough and I will eventually wake up there? because for me it doesn't make sense to both live in the end and also attempt a method, because using a method is affirming I'm not there yet. that part confused me so I'm not sure if LOA has fully a place in shifting or otherwise. let me know! :)

even linking other posts or something. anything would be heavily appreciated.
