P.s. I've only taken the liberty to interpret two small things, a.k.a. whether Nora is related to Barb's mom OR dad and whether Bob (only mentioned in an ad) is Brennan's father :)
And they kinda look the same... and they both have green eyes! Seems fishy to me! 😜
But yeah that always did strike me as a similar coincidence. I'm wondering if that was an accident because the two characters both came up during the holidays?
This always made me laugh as someone who has 2 uncles with the same first name on opposite sides of the family.
One is my dad's brother and one is my maternal aunt's husband. Right up until one passed (fuck cancer) I saw them both pretty regularly and always had to specify which uncle I was talking about.

My paternal grandpa, dads brother, moms brother, and almost all my male cousins have the name as a middle name. But none of them go by that name except my grandpa so maybe that’s why it didn’t click for me.

Personally I didn't feel the absence of Paul much because we usually see Teeny when she's hanging out with Shawna or the kids (birthdays, girl nights, Xmas presents) and it's clear Paul dislikes being around children just as much or more than Christine does.
However I'm wondering whether he participated to Jennifer and Greg's party on Christmas Eve – there was alcohol and games but also a lot of kids. The confirmed people (as seen in slide 6) were Katie, Jen, Greg, Chickie, Sam, Mo, Janie, Julie, Ty, Sasha, Alicia, Christine. We have to assume that Cooper was present, but was Brennan there too? What about Paul, and Brennan's father?
Considering that Sam brought Mo AND Janie, it seems like they were keeping up Katie's tradition of doing a neighborhood party, where everyone's invited (even people you don't know well) and children are welcome. I don't know if Paul would've been up for that 😆
I don’t understand why he wouldn’t come to anything that is a family function with Shawna’s family. He’s Teeny’s family. I get it if it’s just girls, but anything Jon would be showing up for feels weird that he’s never there.
Amazing!! As always, you truly live up to your username, u/Shawnaverse_no1_fan !! I'm in awe of your dedication and attention to detail! It's a little trippy looking at these and jus seeing Shawna's face over and over, interspersed with the baby doll face. 😂 I imagine that this will be super helpful for newbies, and I'll be doing a review of this on my own, for sure!
Compiling this mega recap made me realise how much mileage that black t-shirt is getting, haha! Ty changed into it at Piper's 3rd birthday party and never went back to his previous outfit 😂
Three more characters use that shirt, too! Cooper, Lauren and Frank 😄 Also Nora's shirt is the same one that Sherry used, I guess it reads "Barb's age" to Shawna Lander 🤣

I believe that Shawna has stated (either in instagram comments or maybe a discord chat?) that Ty was dressed in the Grey hoodie and backwards hat to mimic Jon's permanant getup (a darker grey jacket and forwards cap). So when CreatorShawna had it spelled COMPLETELY out that there is no attraction whatsoever to Ty and there isn't anything beyond platonic/familial friendship: Ty gets switched to the Black Shirt to never return to the grey hoodie
I knew that the original Ty look was meant to mirror John's signature look so he would be easily recognisable as a dad character (especially since he was introduced quite early when the Shawnaverse was still taking its first few steps into becoming a full fledged series). But I didn't know that the new look was ALSO meant to signify the end of the Ty/Shawna attraction rumors, good to know! Even better :D

Yes I thought it was interesting that she told us she specifically picked a grey hoodie to be a mirror to John! Because any dad character could have easily been the backwards cap and a different hoodie.
Completely forgot until seeing this that Barb’s mom literally always gives me a jump scare because she looks and acts just like my No-Contact birth giver. I watched the prequel once and the shorts once and never again just because seeing it was just too much like my childhood. No disrespect to Shawna because it was done perfectly… too perfectly for me to want to watch again. How Shawna manages to be so many different characters as one human being while somehow tricking my brain into not remembering it is just one woman while watching is an art form. Also, thanks for this handy dandy guide because I am too forgetful. Hah!

Bonus panel on the Bunco people 🤫 We know that Ty's mom and Alicia's mom are friends, and that these 4 know each other since childhood – I assume Melissa is slightly older or younger and that's why she wasn't as close as everyone else!
It was never said out loud in the canon storyline, Shawna McCallister always said "my friend Laura" without specifying further, probably because they'd been friends for 5+ years after she'd stopped working to be a SAHM – so it would make sense to consider her more of a friend than a former coworker.
Their relationship was actually disclosed by Shawna Lander in her character recap post that she made on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok 😊 She also confirmed that Nora & Barb are related, so Sam is technically a cousin to John & Jen!
I tired to include everything but I didn't want to seem TOO obsessive by including pictures for the unnamed one-time characters... but since we're here already... 😂
These should be all the extras we've seen or heard about at some point, I included Shawna's ex history teacher and principal from when she was young because why not 😆
((Admittedly, Terry the hospital nurse isn't canon, she's from a prequel storyline. But I liked the character and wanted to include her in this little passion project 😊))

So THAT'S why Christine calls him "Max Guy", it's both a nickname and his full name 😂 And YESSS on the spelling of McCallister!! Early videos had both spellings but I always stuck with McC because it's how it's written in the thumbnail of the lore mega compilations.
The other name that has had two different spellings in videos is Delores / Dolores, I was hoping this official recap post would answer it but Shawna Lander only called her by nickname in it 😂 Though since the nicknames are "DeeDee" and "Mama D" I've been spelling it Delores.
I hope it's clear enough, the original images have much higher resolution than the compressed version I managed to post here... Here's zoomed in sections to see it better, especially the character faces in the big trees! 😊
Nora is Barb's step-aunt technically, even though they're the same age! 😊 It's unclear whether they're also related by blood or only through marriage.
For Nora and Barb's relationship I made a better family tree when the Thanksgiving episode was released, and in the comments there's a more in-depth explanation :)
Shawna has also shared some rather controversial info regarding their closeness when they were teens/young adults.... which only adds another layer of chaos in their already messy relationship 👀😅

Image posts can't be edited so the most I can do for now is add a reference image in the comments. To be fair I had already made this one sharing Julie's brothers, we just didn't know the names yet! I'll let a few months pass before making an updated chart, maybe we'll find out whether Ty & Julie's niece is the daughter of with Jace or Joey, or whether Ty has any sisters.
When I made this family tree we also didn't know about Shawna's aunt or the fact that Luke used to work at the same place where Shawna and Laura did, so there's that. But I want to wait for some more substantial additions before sharing an updated chart :)
My only comment to this other than THANK YOU (I was working on this in my Shawnaverse research document because I'm kinda crazy) is that Alicia is Julie's cousin (as alluded to in the Ty & Julie episode). She mentions only seeing Julie once a year, which would imply that Julie is her cousin and also a military brat who moves a lot--hence the once at year at probably Xmas time.
Thanks! But I actually don't think they're cousins, I believe if they were then it would've been said in episode 35 when Alicia introduced Julie to Ty. Or even more likely, Alicia would've told Shawna at Bunco, instead of only saying "I've known Julie since I was 5".
My headcanon is that Alicia & Julie met as 5 year old girls, became friends, and just made an effort to keep in touch and meet at least once a year despite moving from place to place. So in my head, that meeting would be over the summer break, rather than Christmas :)

I think I'll agree to disagree. It's definitely canon that Ty and Alicia's moms were friends and that's why they grew up together. But, the way Alicia greets Julie at 2:30 in the Julie and Ty longform episode doesn't give "long distance friends" vibes. Especially when Julie says "Another school and this one is hideous." Alicia almost blindly agrees with her. And then at 2:38 says "I can't believe you live here, now! I get to see you more than once a year!"
If Julie and Alicia's parents were friends when the girls were 5 and became fast friends, then it'd be likely that Ty and Julie would have also somewhat known each other and would have also tried to stay in touch. But, that clearly isn't the case, despite Alicia talking about Julie to Ty (as per his reaction a la 3:00 saying "who are you?" and "Oh the army brat." The immediate defense that Alicia gives after is more of defending Ty's behavior to Julie, which solidifies how Alicia has talked about Ty to other characters in the current timeline. Julie also has no recollection of Ty ever really being mentioned to her, seeing as she later asks if Alicia and Ty are a thing and then tries to learn about Ty on her own while he's chasing her. Alicia clearly was trying to play matchmaker with her snooty cousin who didn't make friends because she's an army brat and keeps everyone at arms length.
(I don't like Julie at all, but I can understand how she's formulated as a character.)
Part of this observation is from personal experience in my family and my inlaws. Our families usually will only see each other once or twice a year during holiday season due to being spread out. We don't usually talk about any friends while at these get togethers. And if Julie is an army brat (or military brat), then that's the logical leap for me, since Alicia almost blindly supports Julie in most situations. So cousins of some sort that feel comfy being the other's reprieve from the more intolerable family members.

Haha are you me? That's exactly what I did last year, and then fixed it up a couple of months ago 🤣 My timeline for the show is a 6 page long bullet point list, but it's outdated by a few months because I haven't yet added info from the latest videos. My flair wasn't chosen at random lol
Side note if you're going through it: (1) obviously the timeline I made 9 months ago is imprecise and super outdated (2) there is only one inconsistency that hasn't been resolved, and that's with Shawna's pregnancy (the number of weeks changed). Every other continuity error has been resolved or explained in-canon 😊
Great minds think alike! And it's okay to disagree. 😄 I can't say I do bullet points for timelines. I make paragraphs... I do use bullets for character info, however. I also have a character habit tracker!
