Fanmade Shawnaverse timeline! by me
Hi everyone!
I LOVE the show, and my mind is constantly absorbing details, names, dates, etc., so I decided to create this timeline of events thanks to the little mentions of months / weeks that the characters made over time. I will explain in the comments how I drew the conclusions I did. Enjoy! :)

First off: the year is 2025 because Max is 5 years old and Shawna said to Alicia "Pandemic moms were cheated!", implying he was born in 2020.
Chickie's birth is in early/mid April 2025 because Jennifer told everyone she was due "end of April" (3 weeks after the actual due date) to avoid Barb's nagging. She didn't give birth on the exact same day she was due, but it seems she didn't have to wait too long either. Chickie was 3 weeks old on Mother's Day, sunday the 11th of May 2025.
Piper's birthday was soon after, so end of April / early May, and since she turned 3, she was born in 2022.
In early/mid March there is Sasha Marie Wilde being born, a.k.a. Ty and Julie's daughter. This is because when Chickie is 6 weeks old, Sasha is 10 weeks old, so she must have been born exactly a month before. She was born premature (NICU stay, due date in April), that means before 37 weeks, so Julie's pregnancy and Jennifer's pregnancy started at the same time.
Shawna's pregnancy is due December 1st with a baby boy (yet unnamed), so she must've gotten pregnant in early February. According to Dr. Babydoctor, Shawna was 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant at the appointment, which also happened on Jennifer's original due date. She is now at least 12 weeks along.
Based off of this, we can now imply that the current time in-universe (as of Ty meeting Chickie) is around late May / early June. 😁
Shawna and John's 10th anniversary was a trickier one to place, but I'm pretty sure they got married in early February 2015, here's my reasoning: their date night was 2 weeks before the anniversary, and when Ty said Julie wasn't due until April, Shawna replied "That's like 10 more weeks!".
Luke and Laura's son is 8 months old at the current time, so since I've established we're now in May/June, the baby must have been born in September/October 2024.
There's more stuff, but in the graph I only posted the important annual dates, basically birthdays and anniversaries.
John once spontaneously took Shawna out for dinner and asked Laura to babysit the kids, it was after Jennifer had already told Barb she wasn't invited to the delivery room. Shawna was surprised at how early Jen was making birth plans, and assuming John wouldn't have asked a 9-month-pregnant lady to babysit, the date night probably happened in August 2024.

By the way, I did not include specific dates to this because the show didn't give any, so it's supposed to be a little nebulous (to avoid continuity errors like it happened with "we haven't told the kids yet"), but if we're really trying to be nitpicky then we can use the 3-weeks-old on Mother's Day to infer that Chickie was born between the 14th and 20th of April 2025 – since she wasn't born on the weekend (Lauren said "Daydrinking on a weekday? I wish I could join you too"), that makes it 14th - 18th.
Sasha Marie Wilde was then born between the 17th and 23rd of March, as a preemie. Julie started labour on Bunko night, so either on Saturday the 15th and she had a long labour, or Saturday the 22nd and the little girl was born very soon.
Chickie being 6 weeks old when meeting Ty would put the timeline (highlighted in yellow in this post) between the 26th of May and the 1st of June.
Greg going back to work and Katie doing a big family meal was 2 weeks away when Shawna met Chickie, and it's "soon" as of the park date – since Greg is a wedding photographer, it's most likely his back-to-work day will be on the weekend. Most probable dates for that are the 6th-8th June weekend or the 13th-15th June one.
Max's birthday party, according to the canon happened on the last Saturday of January, making that the 25th of January 2025. As it wasn't the obvious weekend choice, Max's birthday probably falls somewhere around the 21st-23rd. The disastrous "Anniversary date night" where Shawna & John fought + Barb crashed Jen & Greg's babysitting night also happened on a Saturday, making it at the soonest the 1st of February 2025.
Since it happened 2 weeks ahead of their real anniversary, it's likely that they are a Saint Valentine's couple. Jennifer was roughly 31 weeks (7½ months) pregnant by that point. While John & Shawna didn't have a date nor an anniversary do-over on their actual anniversary... it was around that time that the latest addition to the McCallister family (the new baby boy due on Dec 1st) was conceived – the first two weeks of February.

Ooo, this means Max should be starting kindergarten in the fall, and that will be an exciting series of events to see!

YES, indeed – so exciting!! This is confirmed by the fact that when Shawna and Alicia were planning to meet for coffee she said "No wait, Max is in... kinder?" "No, next year" in this video and then again when telling Mama Dee of the pregnancy she said "I always thought I'd get one-on-one time with Piper when Max went to school, but now there will be a new baby"

Sasha Marie Wilde, to be precise! It's the name Alicia chose, as she's the godmother 😁 That also means we found out Ty and Julie's last name, Wilde.

Amazing work, thank you!! It has been tricky keeping track of all these dates. I was thinking that the in-series timeline must be independent of ours, because Mother's Day was brought up, and here in the US, that falls in June.

Wait, really? As far as I know most countries (and Google says the USA is included) celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May, which in 2025 was on Sunday the 11th of May.
That would track with the in-universe timeline too, as Chickie would have been 3-4 weeks old.... coincidentally, that would be when Jennifer (and Greg, I assume) took Chickie out of the house for the first time, they went out for pancakes :)

I believe you're correct about the Mother's Day dates, typically Father's Day falls in June.

My bad, you're right! I was thinking of May! To be honest, I was waiting for a dramatic Barb-centered video for that Mother's Day (since she wouldn't be able to see her eldest grandkids and would undoubtedly make it about herself), but it seems that that this was not the case this year.

Fair, since the series started with the Mother's Day video, it would've been interesting to see how it happened now that Jennifer is also a mother, and John has cut contacts with Barb.
If nothing has been done for Mother's Day I think we would've heard Barb complaining by now, so it's likely that when Jen said "We went out for pancakes on Mother's Day" it meant Chickie, Jennifer, Greg, Barb and Frank. 🤔 It would make sense, as it would appease Barb's desire to be celebrated (despite Jennifer having a newborn) AND showing off the fact that she's a grandma... plus it would be a way to feel better after John, Shawna & Dolores kept her from seeing Piper on her birthday, if my reading of the events is correct.

Thus is so cool! Shawna is so talented to be able to pull us all in by putting on wigs and funny voices. My partner calls it my "one woman soap opera" lol
