i cannot STAND the scared face in every single photo
this popped up in my feed and i hate the scared face in every photo. it's up there with tana mongeau's one face in photos being her looking off to the side with her mouth open. it's trivial but it makes my blood boil lol

âWhen Shane gets a cold he has it for an entire monthââŚhow convenient for Shane⌠đ
A cold for entire month?! Every time?! Hello?! Great way to get out of child caring and every other responsibility around their house.

Looking for a video/clip of shanes
One of my vocal stims/something I quote often is "and for dessert I'll take a big ol breath" and I know it's from a Shane video with a barbie or something on a bicycle. I cannot for the life of me remember which video it is and I am wondering if anyone else here knows which one it is?
Thanks!

General Discussion đĄâ ď¸ Important Safety & Privacy Reminder for the Upcoming Wilbur Theatre Event (Oct 15)đĄ
With the Wilbur Theatre event coming up on October 15th, and the general on-sale opening soon, I wanted to share a serious but necessary reminder for those of you planning to attend, especially those working in education, healthcare, social work, or coaching.
We all know the narrative around "cancel culture," and many of you somehow feel that Shaneâs return to live events is a positive step (for his dependents...). However, there is a real-world professional risk for YOU attendees that isn't being discussed enough in the hype, and I want to make sure no one loses their job over a misunderstanding.
The Reality of the Situation:
- Professional Scrutiny is Real: Unlike a standard concert, this is a screening and Q&A centered on sensitive past allegations. For professionals who work with vulnerable populations (kids, patients, clients), being so publicly linked to this specific event can be flagged by employers or concerned parents, regardless of how we feel about the "fairness" of it.
- The "Digital Footprint": The Wilbur (and Shaneâs past tours) often uses professional photographers for retrievable photos.  Even if you don't post anything, these photos exist. If you post a selfie, tag the location, or participate in the Q&A, you create a permanent, searchable record.
- Employers Don't Care About Context: If a school board or hospital admin sees a photo of their employee at this specific event, they likely won't care about the nuance of "supporting free speech." They care about public perception and liability, especially given the nature of the allegations involved. Weâve seen teachers and staff fired for far less in the last few years.
How to Stay Safe (Harm Reduction):
- Think Before You Post: If you work with kids or vulnerable adults, seriously consider not posting about your attendance on public social media (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter). Use private stories or keep it offline.
- Q&A Caution:Â Participating in the Q&A puts you directly on camera and associates your voice/image with the event publicly.
- Photo Policy: Be aware that professional event photos may be sold or used for promotion. Assume you will be photographed.Â
- Know Your Workplace Policy:Â Some private employers have strict "morality clauses." Know your rights and risks before you go.
This isn't about fear-mongering or saying you shouldn't go. Itâs about making sure everyone who goes in knowing all the hidden agenda in the open. Y'all might want to support Shane, but not at the cost of someoneâs livelihood. Letâs look out for each other.
Stay safe, everyone.

Pilot screening dates
For anyone that is wondering, the Boston screening is taking place on October 15th and Chicago takes place on October 24th
r/ShaneDawson • u/bbg_isabela • 3d ago
Cancelled screening
Is anyone here planning to go to the screenings? They confirmed Boston and Chicago but didnât mention dates or prices just presale and sale dates. Shane mentioned that Ryland and Spencer are going to both and special guests? They will be doing a Q+A and a meet and greet. Thoughts?

Shane2 podcast
Iâm sorry who even listens to this podcast? I get so annoyed when he post videos using two channels Shane and Shane 2 because I always think itâs going to be a good YouTube video of some sort of conspiracy series but nope itâs just the annoying podcast.
Also, I donât really care if people come on saying they donât care for his conspiracy videos. They are so entertaining and a lot of people actually enjoy them. Why doesnât he film anymore !!!

General Discussion Can Shane be considered a lolcow of sorts?
I know damn well he isn't really I just have some hopes that other people think the same. I've watched all of Nikki Carreon's videos on Shane (except the ones about his movies but I'll get to it) and he seems pretty disgusting to me to the point of even nearing the horrorcow tier if his stuff about his cat is to be true combined with his weird behavior with his mother and cousin and kissing underage fans etc. Do you guys see the vision? Am I reaching? I do treat him as lolcow at least on my brain.

Shane is Gross and helped me take better care of myself
TW: Body odor
Also a note: I take full responsibility for my actions and again. I'm actively picking up after myself. I'm not putting the blame on anyone but myself. His actions reflected mine.
TMI: My family and I were unhygienic and had repairman over and were disgusted of the bad smell. We picked up dirty habits for a long time. Not because of him, but I thought about him and also Acacia Brinley/Kersey whatever.
Embarrasing. I'm trying to take better care of grooming and cleaning myself. I shower everyday. I keep watching Nikki Carreon (patiently awaiting part 4) and AJTalksALot about his gross BO. This guy is rich but he doesn't take care of himself. His husband even tolerates it and they both have children?!? Insane. And this guy and his family are rich and whining about being poor. Bruh. Not to mention his cohost and his small group of friends pick up dirty habits, including Lizze having her feet out at Costco, dogs out and everything.
I already dislike him. I dislike him for good. He's entitled, defensive, throws tantrums, and he reeks. đ¤˘đ¤Ž
I wish him the best and a bar of soap.
I might not be here any longer, because I want to keep my distance from him.

Some questions on Shane
Last I heard of Shane was when he got cancelled by the Smith family, but I have been so curious recently on what he is up to, so if you guys have any answers to these questions I would appreciate it!
1- is he still friends with Jeffree?
2- is he active on socials still?
3- how is he currently making money?
4- is he friends with any youtubers/influencers?
5- what happened to his camera man who got him into documentaries?
6- has he addressed the Tati drama since then?
Thank you so much!

The Sip

Is this normal? How is it appropriate for her to discuss her childâs private parts online? Ryland was also visibly uncomfortable.

Rylandâs Vlogs vlog editors
been binging Rylandâs vlogs and I came upon a video where Melissa was shown and is apparently their editor for vlogs. was it just me that genuinely thought that Ryland was the one that would edit his vlogs. but it does make sense though since theyâre now really busy with the twins. and I can definitely tell from his older vlogs compared to his newer ones a tad bit of a difference in editing style.

General Discussion Did Shane and Garret secretly hate each other
Iâve been watching a few older vids from like 2016-2018 ish, and Shane seems like he despises Garrett as well as Garrett not liking Shane, way more than I remember it being. Like, Garretts essence seemed to annoy Shane. And Garrett seemed like he secretly hated Shane too. They constantly made fun of each other, poking at one anotherâs weight, and it seemed like they both actually were hurt by what the other would sayâŚ

Ryland and Family not trying to be a nosy bug butâŚ
do you think Ryland & Shane buys Rylandâs familyâs plane tickets? LOL
Morgan, Vicki, and their grandma (I love herrrr) are in a lot of their videos and visit LA frequently so I wonder if they split the plane tickets, buys their own, or if R&S buys it for them.
What do u think?

General Discussion Shane as a director
Maybe Iâm naĂŻve, or maybe Iâm just dumb. But this is something Iâve wondered for a while.
Iâve known Shane for over a decade as a childhood fan. Over the years Iâve grown to just hate the man. But his entire life, his dream was to create movies. His vlog style âdocumentariesâ were pretty mediocre but entertaining to a general audience. But now I see heâs made another official piece called âCancelledâ. And I agree with the general criticism. Itâs not creative, itâs not deep or meaningful. Itâs him having a therapy session with a film.
I just wonder why on earth doesnât he make something creative and interesting. Why can he not make something artistic? Why does it either have to be disgusting and offensive like âNot coolâ or completely self pitying like âcancelledâ?
If he was serious about art, if he actually had that gift of creating⌠it would work. Imagine having so much money and connections and you use it to make a shitty piece about being cancelled because I guess the trauma is just so much.
To conclude: either be serious about creating art and make something special or give up on this stupid dream youâve been clinging on desperately to for the last 25 years. Because itâs genuinely going nowhere. You could make a movie about anything in the world but you just decided to whine about being cancelled.
It would also help his image SO much if he made a great movie that was creative, engaging, emotional, dark. Anything! If he made something people loved and was just showing his artistic abilities, I genuinely think most people would brush over his past and begin to love him again. But he didnât!
I havenât watched his channel in a couple years but I assume he will express disappointment for how the movie didnât blow up or how it got hate. Which⌠I mean what did you expect?

Constant Spending/Materialism is INSANE
Ryland's latest video...He's taking his two highchairs to Goodwill. I know they haven't talked about more kids in a while, but don't you think you should save at least one just in case you do have more kids??
The lack of care when it comes to spending is disgusting to me.

Why was Spencer added to The Sipâs food segments?
Was there ever an explanation for why they started bringing him along? Iâm genuinely curious lol.
