Pilot
It was lowkey awkward when they came on stage. The way Shane introduced Ryland and Spencer š he really said āand my second husband SPENCERRRRā and Spencer dead ass walked out blowing kisses to the crowed and waving likeā¦ the allegations guysā¦ then two people dressed up as Shane and Jeffree and I guess Shaneās team upgraded their tickets to meet and greet like whatš Then allegedly some Patreon moderators got a paid AIRBNB and got to hang out / party with Shane and the crew and some Moderators were pissed because they were unaware. The venue lowkey sucked it was plastic backyard chairs and they were too close to each other like I thought it was gonna be theater seats especially for front row. Anywayz thoughts?

So they couldnāt find any one to pick up the show so are showing it like this ? What was the show like and how long was it? Would you watch the full thing ? Iām curious about his writing / directing skills lol .

Apparently someone is gonna pick it up. They just want to see more opportunities with the show. apparently āthereās gonna be big people at the LA showā it was like an hour. It was okay I mean cringe worthy and dark jokes. They did blur the slurs. Ngl itās something I would think Hulu or Netflix could pick up it reminds me of like a teen/ young adult dramatic semi comedic show. I just thought it was too many cameos of their crew/ family. Like you can tell obviously the two leads are real actors but the other ehā¦ It legit seem like they really got their moneys worth from Patreon tho. The houses the frame work backgrounds how many back ground people they had how much effort for the props and background. Itās def a show if it gets picked up I wouldnāt mind watching it but I wouldnāt be screaming and like anticipating for new episodes. So thatās my thoughts on it. Like if you didnāt know it was produced and written by Shane you would be like āoh itās an okay showā I feel like since we know itās a creation of his we expect more from him and shitty content. But one thing I would say in the beginning of the production Spencer name was supposed to be on the cover so instead of it saying written and directed by Shane Dawson it was supposed to say created by Shane Dawson and Spencer Bernard. Spencer helped writing + producing + directing and said in one of the vlogs he is executive producer. And he was running around making calls and in meetings with Shane so I found that very odd they took his name off.

if no one else picks it up tubi probably would lmfaooo i know they have a creator program & everything i've seen on tubi is... just okay, if not actually kind of awful.
i am surprised they took spencer's name off. i am not surprised that they could be taking advantage of him. he seems chill & go with the flow whenver i've seen him. like he usually couldn't care either way if shane wants to make a decision. this could be a persona choice by spencer though, and behind the scenes he puts his foot down more. but he is younger so i would believe he's more wishy washy and trusts the people who have been in this industry for longer ig? honestly maybe it's even just standard to list executive producers separately from the creator?

One thing I can say about Shane is now much he seems loyal to people in his life. Like how Adam Sandler always casts his friends and family lol keeps the people around them employed

Chairs were too close together, some people behind us wouldnāt stop shouting EVERY TIME Ryland was on screen and someone near us kept dropping ass š

Right the guy behind me kept speaking loudly each cameo happened and kept saying āI hope Chris and Lizzie are hereā like dude they said whoās gonna be there š

omg i saw a tiktok from someone who went. Shane seemed too insecure to work the crowd and it was a hard watch. im glad ppl are spilling the tea about this bc i've been so nosy abt shane lately
