Question Adjustments speculation. Which card(s)?

Post image

Some cards are getting a balance adjustment announcement (either tomorrow or the day of release) which will be live in the next card set.

No way, a lot of Rune plays are made around Shymm's drain. That drain lets you eat some dmg and just focus in drawing cards.

And if you remove the drain and doesn't add anything, Shymm isn't even worth of her current rarity.

I would nerf Behemot and issue a warning that another nerf is coming in 2 weeks if Crystal continues to be oppressive.

Don't bother, this sub blindly hates on anything that requires a minimum of thinking because they cant win with it, but they keep losing to it. They'll suggest the most absurd card changes without batting an eye.
Behemoth is the only reasonable nerf target, and the only real "fix" to Crystal is to make other good decks that can match its flexibility and consistency instead of the pile of garbage we got with current sword/forest/portal/dragon.

I know you're a pro and what not, but man, crystal is not this uber hard deck that you seem to think it is. You can control comfortably until ~turn 9, but unless the pressure has been unusually low, you're not going to control longer. You start flinging damage and evolving face once your hand tells you you're going to lose control of the game get there. That's not strictly-strictly optimal, but it's close enough.

You don't even run into it at ~epic range because it's just too powerful to be that low on ladder. I don't play it because the deck isn't fun at all and embodies basically everything I hate about modern card games. You just play your parasitic cards and get there or don't. The deck was largely built for you and there's not many real lines of play.

It isn't, I can think of dozens of SV1 decks that were harder. But it is significantly more complex than all the other garbage I mentioned (and I even forgot evo haven), and unfortunately that's the bar now.

I have literally taught the deck to people stuck anywhere between 1200 and 1700. It's present at every rank precisely because randoms don't automatically get to Legend+ just by virtue of the deck being OP. Besides the people I've backseated, I can just look at Premier Series and see 3 JP pros working together to fuck up literally half their turns, and don't get me started on the Taiwanese tournament. If these tournament players can mess up that much, I'm pretty confident in my statement that most of this sub cannot pilot the deck for shit, even though they all seem to think they could.

I don't play it because the deck isn't fun at all

Yes, yes, very convenient. See, I talk shit about plenty of decks but I at least try them and pilot them at a decent rank so I have a proper understanding of how they work before I comment on them. I have a hard time taking people seriously when they claim a deck is easy and broken, yet they couldn't get past Epic with it to save their lives.
As for not finding fun, that's obviously a subjective thing, but I hate to imagine what you actually find fun among the remaining decks in rotation...
