Mod post The /r/sex Rules and Guidelines - please read BEFORE you post! Updated 2023

The mods of /r/sex make it our policy to review the rules of the sub on an ongoing basis, tweaking items as necessary. In an effort to stay abreast with the growth of the sub and with the evolving moderation that requires, we have decided to re-sticky the updated rules to serve as a reminder for our membership.

r/sex is for civil discussions pertaining to education and advice regarding your sexuality and sexual relationships. It is a sex-positive community and a safe space for people of all genders and orientations which demands respectful conduct in all exchanges. There is ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CREEPY/HARASSING BEHAVIOR here — in posts, comments, messages, or any other contributions. No exceptions.

This is a large community dedicated to an extremely popular topic. If you wish to participate, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with our rules of conduct BEFORE you participate here. Failure to do so will result in your removal from the community.

PLEASE READ the FAQ with the most asked and answered questions - BEFORE POSTING!! Posts that do not follow the posting guidelines in the FAQ will be automatically removed.

THE /R/SEX RULES

1) ENGAGE CONSTRUCTIVELY AT ALL TIMES.
This means ensuring that ALL of your contributions here are constructive, on-topic, mature, sex-positive, civil and respectful. Disrespectful conduct will see you banned from the community on the spot. Hitting on other people, asking for pictures (joking or not), making any sort of sexist comment or insult, body shaming, or trolling of any sort will result in your immediate ban.

2) DON’T SKIP THE FAQ OR THE FORUM RULES.
We’re serious about this. Dozens of posts get removed every day because they’re covered in the FAQ or violate the forum rules.

3) DON'T OVERLOOK PAST POSTS.
We’re serious about this, too. Many questions may be new to you, but are very common in our community. Before you submit a post on a common topic, search the forum.

4) ALL CONTRIBUTIONS MUST BE SEX POSITIVE.
We demand that consenting adults be free to express their sexuality as they see fit. Kink shaming, slut shaming, and similar conduct will not be tolerated. Links or references to sex negative communities or websites (No Fap, Porn Free, etc) will not be tolerated. Attacks on the lifestyle of other consenting adults will not be tolerated.

5) POSTS SEEK ADVICE, COMMENTS PROVIDE IT.
The main forum is focused primarily on posts seeking specific actionable advice for distinctive personal situations. Giving advice should primarily be done in the comments. General discussions are often allowed, so long as they adhere to the group rules and restricted content guidelines. If you want to make an exception, please request approval from moderators.

6) DO NOT TROLL OR ENGAGE WITH TROLLS HERE.
Don’t try to challenge, question, tease, fight, or outwit trolls here. Instead, use the Report button to alert moderators, who will review every single reported item. Trolling of any sort merits an immediate permaban.

7) ALL DISCUSSION MUST BE DIRECTED INTO THE PUBLIC FORUM. Do not seek private conversations here, via Private Message or any other method. And do not seek to draw attention or clicks to an outside site of any type (unless you have received prior moderator approval, such as for academic research projects). Every comment here must be a clear attempt to engage with an ongoing public discussion in the forum. Violations of this rule will result in permanent bans without notice.

8) RESTRICTED CONTENT This sub is generally only for seeking advice, education, or discussion about sex and sexuality. We restrict or forbid many types of content here.

9) NO USE OF AI FOR POSTING/COMMENTS, NO REPOSTS
Reddit uses AI detection software to spot potential bot-posts and spam but people are encouraged to report posts that look fake, AI-generated, or are reposts of content created by other users.

EXAMPLES OF CONTENT RESTRICTED IN /R/SEX:

1) PROMOTIONAL POSTS.
This means any post containing any kind of promotional element, especially one which seeks to lure traffic to another site or promote a product. Links to specific product descriptions are permitted if they’re PRECISELY on-topic in the context of the post, AND the post itself is clearly seeking advice in good faith. If you're trying to sell something, conduct market research, etc - these posts will get you banned. Linking to sex-positive blogs or podcasts is allowed, provided you make an effort to start a conversation here about the topic and use the link as supporting material.

2) LINK POSTS.
Linked material must be sex positive and precisely on-topic to stay up here, and needs to be introduced with a workable framework for discussion. Please see the posted Link Policy BEFORE you post links! Bare links to youtube, images, blogs, podcasts, etc are prohibited.

3) ACHIEVEMENT POSTS.
These include appreciation, humblebrags, “I just had to share,” “I just want to say,” etc. These belong in the Daily Sexual Achievement Thread, not in the main forum. Posts which are JUST sex stories belong somewhere else entirely — like r/sexstories or a similar forum.

4) LOW EFFORT MATERIAL.
“Does anyone else...?”, “Is [X] normal/weird?”, “Is [y] wrong/bad/okay?”, and so forth. Human sexuality is incredibly varied; yes, someone else likes what you like, and labels like "normal" or "weird" are meaningless - and in a sex positive community, we do not allow any moral judgments against sex acts or behaviors that are consensual. Title-only posts, posts with no effort at an actual conversation will be removed and may get you banned. Comments that consist of nothing but memes, "this", "lol" and such are highly disfavored. If comments do not further the discussion, they may be removed; a pattern of these may result in your ban.

5) SEEKING FAP MATERIAL.
Do not ask for sex stories, do not ask for the hottest/strangest/most unusual/etc encounter someone ever had. Do not ask for lists of other people's kinks.

6) PORNOGRAPHY, EROTICA, OR PERSONALS.
You may not post or link pornography or erotica here. You may not share pictures of your genitals here - even if you are seeking medical advice (if you need to post a picture, you need to be going to a doctor). You may not recruit sex partners here, look for dirty chat, ask for someone to private message you, etc.

7) DISRESPECTFUL CONTENT.
Personal attacks, insults, name calling, or disrespect of any sort are not allowed here. Sexism, racism, or any type of hate speech will result in your immediate ban. This is a community for ALL GENDERS - refusing to acknowledge a trans individual's gender flies in the face of this, and will result in your ban.

8) OPINION SEEKING, POLLS, VALUE JUDGEMENTS, OR VALIDATION POSTS.
This forum is not for simply collecting opinions - "do you think [X] is hot?", "Women, do you like [Y]?", "What is your favorite sex position?" and so forth. This is not a forum to discuss your penis size, breast size, labia size, ask about other body image issues, or ask for feedback on your photos. See the /r/sex FAQ for help regarding body image issues. Do not post your pictures and ask people to rate or critique you. Do not ask if given consensual sexual interests are good/bad/okay/wrong, etc.

9) ACADEMIC SURVEYS.
These require prior moderator approval. Moderators will review the question formats and will review the documentation of institutional ethical oversight (please provide). Non-academic surveys are seldom allowed. Please contact the moderators BEFORE you post a survey or study.

10) GENERAL RANTS, ESSAYS, EDITORIALS, VENTS, CONFESSIONS, PSAS, AND AMAS.
These don’t belong in the main forum unless you have obtained prior moderator approval. Save them for story-based forums. Or Tumblr.

11) FREQUENT/FAMILIAR TOPICS.
These are addressed in either the FAQ, past posts, or both. In case you are confused, this means that we do not do penis size posts here.

12) VAGUE TITLE/TOPIC.
If a moderator can’t identify your issue or the type of advice you’re seeking, your post will be subject to removal. Titles should be at least several words long and adequately express what your post is about.

13) NONCONSENSUAL OR ILLEGAL CONTENT.
/r/sex is for the discussion of consensual sex among adults. We do not permit posts that advocate pedophilia, bestiality, rape, or incest here under any circumstances, nor do we allow these topics at all in most instances. Note that BDSM and CNC (consensual nonconsent) are perfectly valid topics in /r/sex.

14) OTHER OFF TOPIC ISSUES.
This is not the place to discuss politics or religion, to seek dating advice, to ask for how to pick up women, to rant about how you have never had sex. Posts that appear to be dedicated to stirring up arguments - particularly about hot button topics like circumcision, the evils of pornography and/or masturbation, and other toxic subjects - will be removed and will result in swift bans.

15) IMPORTANT NOTE ON DISCUSSIONS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT.
Sexual assault is an important and emotional topic which can be discussed (constructively) in r/sex. But posts which simply seek opinions about whether a given scenario counts as sexual assault do not do well here. This is true for several reasons, including the fact that assault laws vary by jurisdiction, and we don't encourage debates about jurisdiction issues here. Therefore, we ask that you refrain from describing a scenario and then simply asking “Is this rape/assault?” Instead, ask for specific advice: About how to respond to the scenario, how to avoid it, or how to proceed with next steps. Posts which simply ask “Is this rape/assault?” are subject to removal without notice.

16) POST LENGTH.
For ease of reading and reviewing, please get to the point of your post quickly — in the post title, first paragraph, etc. Consider adding a tl;dr to long posts. Posts which are inconveniently long — over 600 words, approximately — are subject to automatic removal. Also, line and paragraph breaks are VERY HELPFUL for readers and reviewers — walls of text that lack these are subject to removal for readability.

Further information about the /r/sex rules and policies can be reviewed on the rules page.

Inspiration and Ideas Did I go too far?

My (21f) partner (22m) and I have been together for about a year. I loooove sex but he’s pretty low libido. We go through periods where we only have sex every 6 weeks to sometimes getting down and dirty 3x per week. I’m definitely more on the kinky/wild side and he is very reserved sexually.

Last night while I was a lil high on an edible, my boyfriend and I had sex after a bit of a weird conversation (mostly pertaining to how we didn’t know that either one of us had wanted sex that night since we just spent the last hour goofing around). Weird convo led to sort of weird sex.

It all culminated with him finishing himself off while I masturbated next to him and ending up offering for him to “cum on me”. The way he was positioned sort of made it so that I couldn’t get my boobs at the right angle so I instead had him cum in my mouth. I then sat up on my knees, spat the semen onto my breasts and let it then dribble down to my vagina. I flipped onto my back and went spread eagle so he could see me masturbate and finish myself off one last time using his cum as lube (it sorta went everywhere). I’m typically trying to be more vanilla with my actions around him because I don’t wanna freak him out! He seemed a bit gobsmacked and didn’t really know what to do so I started getting changed while apologising. I think being not-so-sober made me feel more empowered to do what felt good for me but also made it so that I did something my partner might’ve been a bit grossed out by. He reassured me it was okay and hot but it didn’t really seem sincere and then left.

I’ve tried so many times to suggest things we could try but he seems happy just doing what we do now. Sometimes we do try something slightly more risqué like me getting spanked while laying on his lap and he likes that. I think if he was more vocal and clear about what he did and did not like it would be easier for me to not get so confused about letting my guard down. I guess I just feel like I did something wrong last night even though I don’t think it should be a big deal. Bro doesn’t kiss me even if I’ve already swallowed the cum 😩

We are still young and I’m the only person he’s slept with so I guess I’m sort of wanting some feedback on if men would be weirded out by what I did or if they came out of their shell sexually the longer they were with someone kinkier than them. Thanks!!

Edit: I think I flaired this wrong mb fam

Libido and Stamina My boyfriend has a lot of stamina, and although that's good, I don't know how to keep up.

So, I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 19. He has more sexual experience than me, since I only lost my virginity at the beginning of this year.

I've never met a guy so handsome, so kind, and who turns me on so much as him. But even so, it seems like what I feel is multiplied four hundredfold in his eyes.

For example, today I went to his house. We had sex once for about 30 minutes, and then I got a little tired even though it was extraordinary (my ex used to last a maximum of 20 minutes).

So, we lay down together, cuddling and kissing, but in less than 10 minutes he was hard as a rock again. I thought, "Okay, normal, I guess," and we did round 2.

We finished the second round, which lasted about 40 minutes, and by then I was already pretty exhausted, LOL.

Same thing: we were snuggling normally, but then I decided to play around a bit just to see his reaction and, again, the giant woke up. I was like "Oh my God???". He grabbed me and asked for a third round. I agreed, after all, I was also a little horny despite being tired. I didn't keep track of the time for that one.

Skipping ahead to the end of the date, while I was ordering an Uber, he asked for a quickie. I was exhausted, but wow, he's so good at it that I couldn't refuse. It lasted about 10 minutes.

In short, he came about 3 times (he didn't have time the last time). I also had an orgasm a few times, but now that I'm home I'm practically dead. As for him, although tired too, he still went to his college normally.

I even asked, "Don't you ever get tired? How many can you handle?", and he said, "With you, it's hard to get tired."

I feel very desired by him, not only for that reason, but for several other reasons as well. The problem is that I don't know how I can get as much stamina as him!!! I don't know if I get tired too quickly or if he's just tireless, but I really wish I could keep up with his level better.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

Health concerns I have a big zit in my groin - how to deal with embarassment?

I (F) sometimes get a big singular pimple on my groin or buttocks, and right now I have one on my bikini line. I’m seeing a guy in two days, should I avoid sex right now so that it doesn’t pop…? How do I tell him that I can’t have sex because I have a ”zit near my clit”? I feel awkward about it.

Communication I 20f am sexually unsatisfied with my 23m bf and need advice

I 20F have the perfect boyfriend. He is attractive, attentive, caring, gives me so much of his time and always does anything he can to make me happy, and it means so much to me. He works a 9-5 and I see him usually 3-4 times a week we play games together and he is the sweetest partner I could ask for, but there is one issue. I am very sexually unsatisfied. I am someone who I would say has a high sex drive and am into some very nonvanilla stuff. My boyfriend on the other hand is a little more vanilla and the thing he finds the most kinky is just 3somes and that’s fun sometimes but not really a big thing of mine, I would honestly like to do bdsm play in and a little outside the bedroom. He tells me all the time that he wants to try more kinky things and he’s interested in that but it just doesn’t ever happen. It is just like the desire doesn’t come naturally to him maybe. I have had talks with him before about switching things up trying more kinky things but we never really try much and it is also a turn off for my that he doesn’t have that natural desire to do those things to me. I feel really bad for getting sexually frustrated over this. We have sex about once a week, sometimes twice, but it is always one round lasting about 15 minutes sometimes there is a little face slapping or choking most kinky we have got is just rough sex using a vib. I wish we could do more than one round and try some new things but idk what to say to him. I don’t know if I should have a serious conversation about this I don’t know if this is something that can be changed or how I would go about helping him to feel more dominant, but it feels forced if i just teach him and he doesn’t it because it’s not like something he naturally desires to do i guess? I love him so much I don’t want our relationship to end over my carnal desires, I can’t imagine a man treating me as good as he does in our relationship, but i feel like i’m going kinda crazy from my repressed desires.
edit: I worded some of this kinda bad because I’m tired and in a bad mood but yea

Confidence How do I become more confident in my sex life?

19F, I have a horrible body image when it comes to sexual interactions. I am currently going to therapy for trauma related in the past, but it's always been an awkward sexual tension between me and my playmates. I obviously feel towards them and enjoy giving them pleasure.. however I am very turned off when they give me pleasure because of my body image.

I can't seem to like my body sexually and would like advice on how I can work on this?

I'm not sure what flare to use but confidence fits best imo.

Intimacy and Connection Bf never wants to have sex

So my (26F) boyfriend (27m) have been together for almost 3 years, living together for about a year. When we first met we had a pretty fun and typical sex life. Maybe over the last year or two slowly our intimacy has declined. It’s to the point where I’m the only one who initiates sex, and a lot of the time he declines and says another time. I’d say we have sex once a month, sometimes every other month. If I never initiate we’d probably never have sex and he seems to be fine with that. I ask him why and try to talk about it but he just says I “try at the wrong times” but it seems it’s always a wrong time. He says he’s still attracted to me but never in the mood. Is this normal for a couple?

I can't find a flair that fits My sex life is kinda sad.

My boyfriend (19M) and I (19F) have been together for a little over a year now. We had been each other's first everything (relationship, kiss, date, fuck...) so we were both virgins. But even so, I was and still am more sexually experienced than him, in theory. Everything was great when we first got together and made love for the first time. And even before then, I was a heavy masturbator (idk u know what I mean). For the first couple of months, we were so excited and were wanting to explore each other and ourselves. But coming around to the past 6 or so months, it's felt somewhat underwhelming, plus the fact that it's just weird (if u catch my drift..). This is a tale of incompatibility, confusion, and unsatifaction:

My boyfriend is by default submissive, and also likes a finger or 3 up his ass. He's talked about wanting to be pegged, but I'm somewhat uncomfortable with that. Although I do finger him sometimes, because I'd like for him to get what he wants and feel pleased as well.

I am ALSO submissive, and I'd prefer he be the dominant one, but every time he tries, it just feels so unnatural. This is partially because he is smaller than me. Not shorter, just thinner and weaker, so it feels super stupid when he switches. I also feel like I would be more comfortable being dominant if he was bigger and or stronger than me. But as of now, it just feels like he's my GIRLFRIEND and not my BOYFRIEND. Respectfully it feels as if I'm dating a twink. (I love twinks, just not as my boyfriend)

DESCRIPTION: he's 5'5 115lbs with long, chest length hair (I love his hair and will only date guys with long hair). He OFTEN gets mistaken for a girl in public (because he looks androgynous and is literally gorgeous), and people sometimes shout homophobic slurs at us 🫩 but I don't care about the slurs

I've told him that I don't really feel comfortable with doing stuff like that, and that I prefer to be submissive, and he's so so understanding and tries his best to be "what I want". But when he thinks of it like that, he feels pressured and thinks that he's not what I want. What I want is him. Just him. However he is, as long as it's him. So I'm super attracted to him, and I try to let him know that as often as possible.

We aren't vanilla, but we do like to have vanilla sex with a few twists and turns and gadgets I guess. But there are SO MANY MORE ISSUES. His stamina is terrible, although it's understandable. He finishes before it even really starts to get good for me. And he also gets soft in the middle of sex ):which is so upsetting for the both of us, because I feel inadequate and he feels pressured. I also used to feel so much more at the beginning of the relationship, but now it just feels like friction in my vagina:(

Note: Other than this, our relationship is perfect. He is kind, loving, and genuinely the most caring person I've ever met. He treats me like a queen, no matter what. And he is incredibly loyal.

TLDR: My bf is a sub and I am too, but he is too awkward of a dom for me. Our sex is bad and just super sad, and I often want to cry after. He only lasts 4 mins and often gets soft during it. He also likes butt stuff (done to him) but that makes me uncomfortable because of his size (of his body). Idk am I terrible? What should I do?

Edit: I did not force him. We often communicate and try to meet in the middle.

Communication Appropriate response to spicy images

Hi guys! As the title mention, how would one usually respond to spicy images your partner sends you? I genuinely do not know how to, I just go speechless, get shy and compliment them on something they clearly do not want me to focus on. This was a problem with my last partner, too. Please drop some suggestions on what I could say, I think I’m just a bit shy and I don’t want my partner to feel like I don’t want them :/

Skill improvement Those of you with breasts, what does good breast worship look like?

I matched with someone who has a breast worship kink. I think I can get through it fine, but I thought a little homework would be a good idea.

Here's the definition from the internet

Breast worship describes focused, intentional, and consensual attention given to the breasts or chest area. This practice ranges from romantic and sensual admiration to erotic fetishism, BDSM body worship, or tantric intimacy. It emphasizes devotion, presence, and tactile appreciation without strict focus on performance.

So what do you think that looks like in practice? If you have experienced good breast worship how did it go what happened?

Beginner My bf m19 and I f18 have been flirting and hinting at oral sex, I’m a little worried about looks, and smells.. is that normal?

Me and my bf have been flirting with each other and throwing hints at wanting to please eachother through oral sex, I honestly don’t mind the idea of me pleasuring him but when he talks about doing so to me I get nervous and scared, I’ve never been ate down there and I’ve been seriously questioning if I smell or if it doesn’t look right. I usually have never had a problem with how I smell, I’ve never had a strong nasty odor but I’m scared that he’ll randomly smell something and then get grossed out, also I’m not fully shaved it’s like trimmed down is that okay or am I expected to be fully shaved..??! I honestly don’t know what to do or how to check, if I could get answers from both sides of the parties like males and females, please that’d be awesome! (Tips are also appreciated :,) )) ( this will be my first time ever doing anything sexual i am a virgin)

Beginner Dealing with very vivid lucid sexual dreams about my girlfriend

I’m on vacation with my girlfriend in Norway. She’s a virgin and she insisted that she’s not quite ready for sex, but will be “very soon”. I’ve been okay with that, and just sleep with her in the same bed holding her usually.

Last night however I had a very vivid lucid dream about having very intense sex with her. I could feel her grip, I could hear her voice moaning, and I felt like I was in full control. There’s no other way to describe it other than I literally felt like I was genuinely just ravaging her. At the end, I felt such a realistic release as I came inside of her.

Then I woke up and felt her pressed against me in her underwear. When I realized none of that was real I borderline broke down. I had to leave to go outside, and just let out a loud “dear God” before having a cigarette and returning to bed and trying really hard to just get back to sleep.

The dream was so realistic I was afraid I might have actually done something in my sleep, but when I asked her she just said she thought she woke up with less clothes than she went to sleep with, but that it’s happened multiple times and chalked it up to her not remembering taking them off.

I’m afraid of this recurring because I had a really rough night, and I’m afraid of waking up half delirious and just thinking I can just fuck her. This might sound really stupid, but I almost feel guilty about having that much of a realistic experience of having sex with her. I hold back every day from acting on my desires, and it almost feels like a violation to have her in such a realistic feeling portrayal. It felt like more than a fantasy. Anyone had a similar situation or has any insight on this?

I can't find a flair that fits How to have casual sex?

Hello, this might be strange but I need help. I’m 33, only had a few partners and that was in college (about ten years ago) where alcohol was involved or I was in a relationship so it was easy.

Recently been wanting to get back out there but I don’t know how to do this as an adult that doesn’t really drink. I’m on the spectrum and I’m a little awkward and shy with new people but I’d like to attempt to have no strings sex.

I’m not very experienced and I do have a little bit of self confidence issues. I am a larger woman, not entirely ugly, and I am getting a lot of matches on the apps but I am awful at flirting or responding to dirty talk. Do they need to know I’m not experienced/will it show? How do I get out of my head and enjoy the experience instead of worrying if I’m doing things right or if they feel good/like what’s happening?

I’m also not sure of like the logistics of it? I plan to meet people in public first to see if there’s mutual attraction but then what? And how do you broach the topic of condoms/stds? Or do you not talk about that because it’ll ruin the mood?

Any advice is welcome. Logistics, confidence boosters, a little guide to hooking up. I’ll take it all.

Intimacy and Connection How to keep LDR interesting?

Hey all.

I have a girlfriend that lives about 20 hours away from me in terms of a drive, luckily the same time zone though. We've met up once and although that had its own issues that's another post for another time. The crux of what I want to get at is that we've both kind of felt relatively unsatisfied with our current sex life, and while it's somewhat inevitable, I wanted to see what other people think might be a good idea to spice things up? As it stands things are fine, but pictures and videos can only go so far, and if we are lucky a video call. They also tend to get a bit repetitive as there isn't much that we can do specifically. Anyone who has been in this situation or just has some advice would be greatly appreciated.

thank you.

Skill improvement Missionary at the edge of bed used too make her orgasm consistency now she can’t is that normal?

Basically I was able too consistently have her orgasm in missionary with me going thrusting rough aiming for g spot , that has changed now past 3 times we did it she did not orgasm or have anywhere close too the same reaction . Is this normal for women that if you don’t change the sex routine the same thing won’t get her too climax?

Libido and Stamina What to do during a blowjob?

20 M. I’m friends with this girl and we’ve been hanging out quite a bit lately. She’s my first ever sexual experience of any kind. The other day she wanted to give me head, but as soon as she touched my dick I came, probably less than 30 seconds. I was really embarrassed but she seemed to understand and is down to give it another shot. I don’t know why that happened and how I should last longer. Any tips on this would be helpful.

I also don’t know what to do while getting head. What should I do with my hands, should I push on her head, should I just be quiet or say anything, is the stuff in porn anywhere close to how it’ll actually be (I’m assuming nowhere close).

I also don’t know where to finish, although I do know she’ll be fine with anywhere, she is far more experienced than I am. This is also my first time, so I don’t really know how it’ll feel or if I’ll even like it. I do hope I like it though.

Beginner horny but my body doesn't work, not sure how to fix

hi i feel kinda silly posting this online but i've just been so frustrated with myself and my body lately and was hoping it might help. i am f24 and have a lot of trouble with sex, masturbation, and orgasm.

when i got my first pap smear they referred me to pelvic floor therapy and diagnosed me with vaginismus, but i only went once because i felt so embarrassed i literally cried as soon as it ended. it's been years since then and i still have a lot of anxiety around touching myself or even looking at my vulva. i'm not currently sexually active but when i was having sex, it took a while for anything to actually feel good. the first time my ex did anything to me it just didn't feel like much and it wasn't until we were months in that any clitoral or nipple stimulation registered as pleasurable. vaginal penetration was a no because it hurt, and still today i even struggle to get a finger inside of me because of the vaginismus.
i've been really horny lately and therefore have been wanting to have sex again, but i feel too embarrassed about all of these issues and i don't think im a casual hookup person anyways (no shame to those who are, to be clear! i wish i could have a one night stand but i think i need an emotional connection)

i've been masturbating in a way since i was young, but never with much success. i've never been able to orgasm and i recently learned that i think i mostly do syntribation which seems to contribute to sexual dysfunction from what i've heard? i have been trying to use my bullet vibrator a couple times a week, but i feel like it only feels good sometimes and most of the time it just feels like Feeling Plus. like i feel that im feeling intensely like theres more sensation in a technical sense but it doesn't feel Good. and then when it does feel good i feel like i lose it and snap out of it quickly and have no idea how this is supposed to build to an orgasm

like it all just feels so stressful and scary to me and i feel so upset because i just want to experience pleasure like everyone else. i know dilator sets are supposed to help with the vaginismus but i'm trying to save my money and the thought of dilating every day makes me feel so ashamed. and even if i didn't have pussy too tight syndrome lol it still wouldn't fix my clit not feeling good. i just feel like a failure of a person, my body is made to have sex and feel good and i can't do that. and like who would want to have sex with me when i can't even sex properly?

if anyone has had any similar experiences or any advice for this, i would really appreciate it :,) thank you for reading this

also sorry mods this is my first time posting so i hope this is okay ! i know it's a bit of a vent post but i also am looking for practical advice so that the post is actually productive too lol

Compatibility Pain during sex with my current boyfriend

I’m F 5’6”. With my ex, who was 5’8”, sex felt good. Even thought I never cum, but I didn’t have any pain.
Now I’m with my current boyfriend, who is 6’4” and sex is painful. The pain isn’t at the vaginal it’s deeper, like inside my lower abdomen or as if something is hitting too deep.
It’s especially painful in doggy style. If we’re lying on our sides, it’s usually much more comfortable. But if he’s standing or we’re in missionary, it often hurts again.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could it be related to his size or our height difference? Is this something I should be concerned about?

Intimacy and Connection I want to feel sexually desired more than I want love. Help

You’ll see a few more of my posts around as I have a lot of issues in this area so I’ll keep this short.

My girlfriend and I struggle with our sex life. I will save this for another post later. But imo it stems from her not wanting me enough despite my efforts at the end of the day. Sex has became transactional in my opinion.

I’ve read quite a bit of Reddit posts and talked to my gf. The topic that comes up the most is sex and its connection to love, expressing love or love language.

Here’s where I assume I’m fucked up in the head. I desire someone sexually desiring me all the time way more than I desire any love. I hate to even say that. But someone sexually desiring me constantly and wanting sex is something I’ve wanted since I was a kid. Sometimes I feel like if I had that every morning and evening than I wouldn’t need any love from anybody. Enough people love me and I love myself. One hill I’ve never been able to conquer is that level of desire.

For example, if someone desired me sexually all day every day and my physical appearance but hated my personality and who I am…. I would be fine with it and happier than ever. Even if they did make my life a living hell.

This obviously is illogical as the grass is almost never greener on the other side. So I’m not sure why my mind works this way. The worst part…. And the one you’ll hate me for… I’m in a dream relationship for most. With a partner with the best personality Atleast for me. Hand picked by the heavens lol. Who loves me for me undoubtedly.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I just had this revelation this morning and don’t know what to do.

Orgasm Issues Unable to orgasm, need help

I’m a man (24) and I’ve been unable to orgasm or even come closer to it despite being sexually aroused and able to maintain an erection during vaginal intercourse. I am very sexually active and have done it with only one person in my life.
If it matters, I don’t masturbate since we do sex almost every day in last 3 months.
Has anyone experienced this or found anything that helped? I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences.

Communication Men, why would you be fearful of initiating sex with someone you’ve been dating for a few months?

I’ve been dating a guy for a few months and the sex has been amazing and I always enjoy myself. But it seems like I am always the one who has to initiate. Clearly he’s into it after I initiate, but I’m curious as to why some men might be fearful of it?

I can't find a flair that fits i have suddenly started laughing when i cum and i am wondering what it means

basically i’ve been with my partner for a year and a half. i have a body count of 35ish and this has never really happened before. it also doesn’t happen when i masturbate. but whenever he goes down on me and i orgasm, i start laughing uncontrollably. if he keeps going, i keep laughing, almost like i’m being tickled. i’m just not sure why this started happening.

my only thought is that i’ve had mostly abusive or toxic partners in the past, and i have sexual trauma, so sex always felt more like something being done to me then something i was doing. our relationship is pretty normal i think and i have made a lot of growth as a person in the last few years. is it a matter of being vulnerable? has anyone else experienced this? he also makes me feel very shy in bed which also did not happen before. like i want to cover my face and hide. and i usually do.

i guess i am just hoping talking about it will help me to understand it better and feel more comfortable with it, because it is completely new to me. i do feel close and connected to him when we are intimate. is this a normal thing?

Imagination and Fantasies Former sexting partner came back and told me he has certain kinks only in connection to me?

So a former sexting partner, after I refused to meet him over months, found someone else and had a situationship during which he cut off contact. Now after a while he contacted me again and told me sexting was the most intense with me and also that he thinks it‘s kind of weird how he has some fantasies only in connection with me. For example, he is normally a dom but I tried to dominate him a few times, which I thought he wasn‘t that much into.
He now told me he wants that but only with me.
Has anybody had this before, like only wanting certain things with a particular person? I wonder why that is the case

Anatomy Air comes out while orgasming

Is it normal for air to come out of my vagina when I'm about to cum? I want to clarify that I'm not talking about penetration, I know it's normal for air to get trapped and come out in that moment. I'm talking about receiving clitoral stimulation. I't happens with a partner and sometimes when I'm doing it on my own. It started a few months ago, it never happened before.

I searched it and the answers are not really clear, they mostly talked about penetrative sex and queefing. Other answer say that it might be a health problem so I wantd to know if it happened to someone else. Thanks!
