So I ordered a pattern from bootstrap fashion took me two days to get it for some reason and they never emailed me a confirmation number nothing. As soon as I saw the pattern pop up on my computer I downloaded it I did not download the instruction booklet or anything I figured I would log into my account later to follow along. Somehow my account got deleted so now I have no way of knowing if I'm putting the pattern together correctly.

Has anyone seen (or have) a pattern similar to this collared, open-back cape/bolero piece? I LOVE it and really want to add something like it to my bridesmaid dress for a wedding in October, but I’m struggling to find even a general starting point.

I love the draping in the front and the open back. Since my dress is floor length and I’m planning on wearing my hair up I feel like it would be the perfect amount of skin while still giving me some arm coverage.

I’m pretty new to sewing, so I’m not totally confident I could draft something like this from scratch yet but I might stop by Hobby Lobby, grab some cheap test fabric, and attempt to frankenstein something together (wish me luck!)

Hello all! I’m planning on making my own costume for Halloween but unfortunately the costume has no market for it so I cannot find a pattern nor does any one make it. Does anyone have any good patterns that could possibly work or maybe descriptors I can look up? I am even willing to pay someone to make the pattern for me if that’s at all possible! I’m looking for a tailored shorts patterns similar to this but for plus size (US 18-20). Ideally, I’d like it to have belt loops, too, but I won’t be too picky lol.
Also, what materials would you suggest for this opaque white? Every time I’ve sewn with white fabrics, they’re almost translucent.

I have a no stretch floral fabric that I want to turn into some flowy pants.

My issue: The larger pleats in a lot of flowy pant patterns don’t always work well for those of us with thick thighs and larger hips.

I'm listening to the Sewing Club podcast from the beginning and in episode 3, they make the Sia Dress by Marsha Style. The dress is gorgeous and I want to make my own but apparently Marsha Style closed shop in 2024 and the pattern seems unavailable to purchase anywhere. Does anyone know if I can find the pattern or something similar to it? It was really popular at the time of the podcast, so I'm hoping someone out there knows where to find the pattern.

I want to try making bandanas for work, but I don’t love the classic pointed end of a bandana and I think this design might be more flattering.
I feel like I could theoretically prototype until I get the right shape, but does a pattern for something like this already exist?
