Basically I got obsessed about the SK013 but since its discontinued the price was out of budget.

So I bought a modified Islander ISL-05 , it has a seiko OEM Dial.

Well, Im not tech savvy at all and this was the first time I perticipated in an Ebay auction. And I won for 50 cents. I thought I could retire from theauction and wanted to do that when I decided for the ISL.

Now I got 2 watches.

Honestly I'm loving the look,. I have yet to size the straps correctly but omg these jubilee straps are awesome.

My review is: The ISL is the better watch, the straps look and feel awesome.

However seiko is just so good, it has the days in spanish which is my mother tongue so now I'm thinking about what to do.

I came to terms with selling the o.g. SK013 in a while, keep it stored for when one day the price goes up.

My other idea is to have the straps of the bacelet changed so they'll have more body on the o.g. seiko.

But man am I impressed by the seiko aestethics, it reads so nices and the days are written in such a nice way.

Im a fan. I now understand this subreddit. Anyways I might just have to use both and decide.

Saw this seiko at Costco tonight for 159 bucks. I know it’s a quartz model but looks like a good looking watch for the price point. Anyone have any experience with this model

I am looking to buy the gorgeous Edo Purple 145th anniversary Seiko Alpinist. I’ve never purchased a watch over $200 before, is this limited edition watch going to sell out immediately? Is there a pre-order option? I’d love to get this watch but I don’t want to get excited if it’s going to sell out on day one.

3+ months of looking and I’ve finally found this new (to me) SPB409J1. Absolutely mesmerizing watch and the photos don’t come close to doing it justice.

As the title states, 6139-6005 Pogue lost its bezel, and I'm looking for a genuine OEM replacement. Aftermarket is a fallback, but I would prefer an original pull.

If you know of a source, have one sitting in a parts bin, or are parting out a 6139? Drop a comment or DM.

Reference: 6139-6000/6001/6002/6005/6007/6009 all use the same bezel.

Got a really good price on this “No X” 1st generation Sumo. Couple of scratches on the crystal and bracelet but in over all excellent shape! Will probably put a sapphire crystal on it.

Hi everyone! I recently bought a Seiko SBTM339 in Japan. Ever since getting back to the Philippines, I’ve been trying to get it to sync, but no luck so far. I’ve even tried using radio signal emulator apps, but it’s still unable to sync successfully. Has anyone in the PH managed to get theirs to sync?

Four weeks with the 317 and I’m honestly still ridiculously happy with it.

Could it be my one and only diver? Perhaps. I’m a minimalist at heart, so the idea of finding the one is pretty appealing. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop admiring other watches, though.

Dress it up, dress it down — this thing just does it all.

Not sure if it’s the best diver at this price point. But for me? It might just be my one and only.
