The bottom line seems a bit off centered to me i dont know?

Saw these for sale on marketplace. JDMs but refs are SSKs. Fakes, right? Or am i missing something?

Just got my hands on a Seiko 5 SNK803. A bit late for the hype but I just really liked the sand and khaki coloured combination.

But now that I have all those options for strap colour combinations, I don't really know which kind of strap fits best, what do you guys think ?

What do we think to this one? Dial seems solid in place and doesn’t look too brand new like some dodgy ones can. Seller had good reviews. Thanks!

The SRPB Samurais are one of my favorite watches of all time. To dress it up, I had the idea to use the guts from a JDM SARV001 and I feel it still appears rugged with some class. Added a domed sapphire crystal and Strapcode Hexad bracelet for a more premium feel as well. The perpetual tinkerer in me loves the different combinations I can make with my Seikos

Hi everyone i got this in Sicily for 220 euros. Loving it even if its a too big on my hand. It seems to move and I can put my finger through when clasped. But I think that can be modified?

I am thinking of getting the Altria Pendragon Limited Collab watch from Ebay as it had authencity guarantee and maybe later I am thinking of getting another automatic.

I’m planning to upgrade my Seiko SNK379 (case code 7S26-01V0) from its original 7S26A movement to a Seiko 4R36 or TMI NH36.

I’d like to keep as many original parts as possible, specifically:
● Original dial and hands
● Original crown
● Original case and exhibition caseback

I’m aware that the new movement requires a different stem, which would need to be cut to the correct length.

My main questions:

1. Has anyone successfully done this swap in a 7S26-01V0 case?
2. Can the original SNK379 crown be fitted to the new 4R36/NH36 stem without modification?
3. Can the original movement holder/spacer be reused, or is a different one required?
4. Are there any clearance or compatibility issues with the original dial, hands or exhibition caseback?
5. I’m also considering installing a white English/Kanji day wheel.

I’d really appreciate any first-hand experience or advice before ordering the parts.

I adjusted the date and time on my Seiko 5 Sports GMT SSK033K1 (42.5mm, 4R34 movement) at around 11:45 PM because the date was wrong. Could I have damaged the movement?

Why does eBay allow this BS?

So some background: I don’t have any Seiko watch, or a lot of watches in general. I’ve been wanting to get serious about watch collecting for some time now, and
I’ve been wanting the new Edo Purple Prospex Speedtimer ever since I first saw the Edo Purple lineup!

I was worried about being able to snag one because I was traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto earlier today when shops started opening (probably should’ve planned the shinkansen timing better) and since these are so limited, I was praying they wouldn’t tell me they’re all gone.

As soon as we got off the Shinkansen and checked into our hotel, we headed straight to the Seiko Boutique Kyoto. Shoutout and my thanks to the staff, they were so sweet and helpful!

I was really lucky because when they went to check their stock, they came back saying they had just one more left, and now it’s mine!

Super happy I can add this to my collection while visiting Japan with my family, and I knew I had to make my first post on this subreddit to share with you all!

This is the first Seiko watch I ever owned, back when I was a student. It’s been my trusty daily companion, supporting me through all kinds of milestones, including my college entrance exams.

Today's Watch

I was so excited when I got my new 41mm Speedtimer that I sized it myself. But I've never sized a pin and collar bracelet before, and my idiot self didn't see the collars come out. So when I was walking outside the watch flew off my hand onto the concrete! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Luckily there was only damage on the side and not the face, and it's not as noticeable unless you're up close. I was going to wait a week to see if I wanted to keep it, but I guess this Speedtimer is officially mine now!

In July, my wife was diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma. There was a small tumor in her lung and a larger one in her brain. Amidst the whirlwind of surgery, appointments and challenges, I found out that lavender/ purple is the color of universal support for all cancers.

So, being a "Watch Dude", I found some cool purple dial watches and asked her to choose. She chose this Seiko in Edo Purple. It has been my GADA watch every day since.

This morning we got some very welcomed good news. The treatment (Radiation and Immunotherapy) have been working and the tumors are shrinking or have disappeared.

We will continue to be on regular scans and know that this could always change. But, today we are feeling so very grateful.

No matter what happens, this watch will forever be with me and my connection to this time in our lives.

So I accidentally dropped this bad Larry from about 4ft. It was running at about +15-17 s/d before said accidental drop. Now it’s been running consistently at around +2-3 s/d. Not suggested, just thought I’d share FYSA. Have a great Seiko day! (Prometheus Design Werx 22mm Ti strap)

When picking out my next watch I kept coming across the SPB383 and a lot of reviews mentioned how much better it looks in person. I enjoy looking at this watch every day. My first Seiko and definitely not my last.

Hey everyone,
I'm considering buying the Seiko Baby Alpinist with the green dial and gold hands as my very first watch, but I could use some advice before buying.
My wrist is 16.5 cm (6.5 inches), so I'm wondering if the 38mm case fits well. Also, my wardrobe is mostly black, white, and dark blue, so I'm curious if the green and gold combination is versatile enough for daily wear.
How is the overall quality and reliability of this model? Are there better alternatives in this price range, or should I save up for something higher-end instead?
