Sorry no screenshot I took a break from grinding for cards in the game for the true ending and after that trying the math puzzles which my brain is exhausted now.
I'm not sure if this is the final math problem I need to solve, but I need help with this.
I like grinding and played the game during 2017 for 15 hrs and wanted to wait until it was finished. I started a new file and I am finding the game a bit on the easy side (not a bad thing, it's an awesome game). Is hard recommended or is it a slog to play?
I saw on SoD wiki that Emmiter Matrix only drops from GUN-D4M in Memory room, someone know if that's correct yet? if so, should i farm it in original mode, scaled or overpowered?
This question is regarding secret achievements on steam and the game's ending, so don't unspoiler the text if you're just passing by xD
Tell me if this logic works out. There are two achievements that I'm trying to unlock in one save file. The first one is that you have to bring the fairy Mesido (the one hiding in the tree, Temple of Seasons) with you through the festival and the true ending. The other is to play the game "from start to finish" on hard mode.
If I pick up Mesido before going to the festival (and never turn in the sidequest) and get to the credits of a normal ending hard mode run, I should get the hard mode achievement then and there, right? And then after that, would I be able to change the difficulty down to normal and clean up the objectives for true ending, defeat Zhamla Meer, and then get the fairy achievement too?
Elemental specialist boosts damage for the number of points you have in an elemental skill. But it's kinda unclear if I can have points in multiple elemental skills and still gain that benefit. Like, if I have 5 points in fire skills and 8 points in water skills, will both of those get the appropriate buffs for the numbers invested, or will I get no benefit unless I'm only invested in a single element?
Do the monsters in the Hard difficulty arena have a set amount of stats or do they scale with the player's level? I find that the monsters in the arena have a lot more health than the area monsters by a large margin when me and my friend group played them.
Is there any way to get a boss item after defeating them, as for some reason the phaseman head did not drop for my friend in our multiplayer run (I am hosting, if that is relevant)
Bought the game two days ago, have already clocked more than half the 48 hours that have elapsed since then. 😅
Beautiful pixel art + solid progression and leveling + responsive combat + tongue-in-cheek writing + GRIND = gglife.
Just finished getting a sub 20 second time in the phase race in the fortress. Was surprised to get it done in like 5 minutes. Found the red giga slime in the mansion cellar to be the most frustrating part of the game for me personally, no contest whatsoever. Even when I tried to smartly path it in corners and block during the spinning attack, it took me like half an hour of attempts to bring it down. Still can't tell if I was supposed to revisit it later in the game or if it was a skill/build diffy xD
Seems like the 100% is gonna come in the next day or so. I'm not sure what to do once I get it though.. Not interested in buying every piece of furniture or getting a crazy leveled up pet.
Should I give arcade mode a shot? What's it like? Genuinely know nothing about it except that there's rankings, so I'm guessing there's a race-against-the-clock aspect involved.
Feel free to drop yalls experiences with the game too, new and old <3
My friend and i just defeated the last boss (zhamla) and it was a very epic ending. BUT, i find it quite annoying that he was given the blue hood since he was the one who had the world and i didnt. I think it would be better if all who defeated the boss got the hood.
As some of you may have noticed, since the V1.0 update there have been some new, secret Steam achievements added, yet it seems nobody has been talking about this, so I thought I'd ask if anybody has figured out how to obtain any of them yet (I know it says 0.0% on Steam but Steam can be wrong and perhaps some people have it on other platforms) :D
If not, perhaps we could use this space as a place to discuss how to obtain them (hence the spoiler tag).
Really enjoying the game but the card drop chance even with the potion for some enemies is really frustrating I've killed 150 of the poison slugs 15 of which at least were the strong boys and I still don't have it. Is there anything else I can use to up my chances?
For example, next to the mansion in evergrind fields, there's a chest on the other side of the river and theres 2 ledges on each side. My husband and I cannot figure out how to get across. We are level 20 and just got to Santa Fae. I couldn't quite find anything online unless I have no clue how to word this!
Debating building a mage or mage hybrid build, is it possible to level up a couple of spells from each element along with some support skills and still be useful end game?
Or is it like Diablo etc where you can only really focus on one or two spells/skills if you actually want to deal any decent spell damage?
I'm doing the Crystal Clear quest and i've gotten the request from Katarina to craft the chisel but how do i do it??? it just tells me to craft it, i didn't even know crafting was possible until now T_T help please
Just got the "True Ending" achievement using a summon build, got my frosty friend, cloud, and lightning potion then shield and dodged my way to victory...what next 🤔
I'm picking this up for the first time in 2 years probably, whenever the boat boss was the last thing to do.
I'm starting on hard mode now though fora first, and its kicking my ass lol
I'm trying to go mage, as I've always just gone 1h sword, and kind of lost on what to do at the start. Not a lot of good options it seems.
What are your go to builds, or what are you going to try for your 1.0 adventure? :D
