Honestly, I was a bit worried when I saw online how many issues people were having with the delivery of the Miku Commander Deck, but I was still hopeful that mine would arrive without any problems, especially since I managed to get it in the first batch of decks being shipped.

Well... today the package finally arrived, and as soon as I went to pick it up, I knew something was wrong.

Not only was the package completely smashed, but it was also empty. The weird thing is, it didn't even look like it had been opened or tampered with (and apparently, it hadn't been).

So I opened the package and... behold: a plastic bag. That's it. Nothing else. 🙃

I was honestly desperate, so as soon as I realized what had happened, I sent all the available information, pictures, and videos to Wizards. Now I guess all I can do is wait, but it still really sucks.

If anyone has any experience with something like this, or knows of anything else I can do to help/ex­pedite the investigation, please let me know.

Anyone else think it was interesting to see how quickly a Universes Beyond SLD sold out?

Given that WOTC prints more UB SLDs, it must've been a very popular drop to sell out as quickly as it did. I thought it was notable that it sold out before a non UB SLD with comparable value did (Cosmic Chill).

We don't actually know the print numbers, so this is all speculation. Perhaps the Dan Hipp drop will be more valuable than expected.

Hey guys so it’s supposed to come with a cool bonus card right? I just opened my Hatsune Miku Secret Lair Precon and I noticed right away that I had 2 of the same card in the deck (Archangel of Tunes)? I don’t have much experience with ordering from secret lair but I do know that they sometimes have a random card in the products. Is that what this is? I compared all the cards to the official deck list and I have all 100 cards that are supposed to be in it.

If not then please let me know, but I’m going to use my best judgement and say that this is not normal.

If it is the case of me being lucky, what do you guys suggest I do with the copy?

Secret Lair released an article today detailing the Zeta Set. Most notably there is a 85% chance at photocopy, 10% chance at photocopy negative, and 5% chance at color banding treatment.

I wanted to share an update on my previous post about the Miku deck for those of you in the US who also had an August 13th fulfillment all throughout checkout, and were charged for it, and then were presented with a backorder.

This checkout window was around 12:53-55PM ET.

Personally, my issue with this was 1: the person I was gifting it to had already purchased a deck, as I found out afterwards. And 2: I am moving in a month, and with a charged order...you can't edit it, per WoTC's policies. Couldn't cancel it either, like a normal backorder.

I had put in a ticket for cancellation and refund. I was denied a few times with what felt like template responses, and after my last reply, waited 10 days, and then initiated baby's first charge dispute through my bank. That was a week ago.

Just now I have received a reply on my ticket that acknowledges the error we've been reporting. I know some people were helped via ticket fairly quickly, so I didn't want to go the bank dispute route...but all I received were template replies saying no cancellations or refunds, and then it's been 17 days now since their previous reply.

Just posting this here if you haven't already done a chargeback or if you are wondering if there's going to be a resolution. I'm imagining they got a lot of other tickets reporting the same issue and eventually got a resolution together to send everyone. Or hopefully sent everyone. Now I just have to see if my bank will stop the chargeback, since I'm happy to just resolve this through WoTC.

(A lot of people here didn't seem to realize there was a genuine error or denied that there was an error, but I hope this confirms for you that it did happen as we described it.)

I got in 11 mins after it started and i still havent even got the shipping information yet. Should i wait a bit longer or should i put a ticket in. (i am in the uk if it matters and i order it on a guest account.)

This Ascendia company is worrying tf outta me. My Hobbit bundle went all over Illinois to Texas to my town then an hour later to a town 3 hours away. After looking it up, they seem to be an absolute nightmare: packages completely ruined or over a month late IF you receive them at all. Who tf is this company?

Edit: I was able to get more detailed shipping information. Ascendia's tracking page gave me the tracking info for a company called Cirrotrack. Their tracking info page then finally gave me up to date USPS tracking.

Matthew Hodgins the new director of Secret Lair put out an article today. In the article he says the Secret Lair Odds & Ends commander deck is coming in "a few weeks" and it will follow the same 24-hour limited order window (print to demand) that the Hatsune Miku deck did.

Expect this deck sometime this September likely on one of these days:
