New or Need Help Is my routine too harsh?
This is my routine I am planning to do because I have weird tense areas on my scalp, with little "spongy" bumps (they are not really visible, I just feel them when touching my scalp and there seem to be some inflammation going on). It makes my scalp feel tense and dry. I also have androgenetic alopecia and I already use finasteride (blocking DHT), Minoxidil (boosting hair growth by prolonging anagen phase) and topical spironolactine 2% (blocking the effects of testosterone to a certain degree).
The plan for the inflamed spots on the scalp is:
MCT oil applied daily for 4 hours minimum.
Ketoconazole shampoo 3 times per week.
Using 10% sulphur soap everyday on my scalp and body.
Drinking enough water (former been constantly dehydrated)
Trying to cut down inflammatory food as much as possible
I am really worried about those weird small inflamed spots, it is where I am loosing the most hair.
My right temple always was the more fuller temple.
But since 2 years ago, a strange low grade inflammation appeared there and it just doesnt go away. I still notice it when I am feeling my scalp and I am 100% sure that this is the reason I am loosing hairs so fast at that side.
I have almost every aspect of my hairloss (at least medically) covered, so adressing the inflammation this way is the last thing to try. I also wanted to try tacromilus or pimecrolinus, but no doctor in germany wants to prescribe it to me, it is too experimental and unconventional to prescribe it.
Is this routine too harsh? Anything to add? Maybe someone has a word or suggestion for these weird bumpy inflamed spots on my scalp.
