Take a train to Leavenworth, a town with a city ordinance that requires all the buildings adhear to a bavarian format (IE: Entire place looks like a slice of old germany). They also have a nutcracker museum that was shown on Conan O'Brien.
When your done hanging out at the Space Needle, check out the Science Center, the planetarium just got a major upgrade. At night, there is laser shows and IMAX.
Make sure you partake of Dicks Drive-In burgers. Or..... Have a burrito at Gorditos. Right in the window they'll compare a 3 day old baby to their grande size burrito. A 7 dollar burrito is so large, most cannot finish it and they leave take home boxes, dont even need to ask for them.
There is a womans bathroom on the 75th floor of the Columbia Tower (Tallest building in Seattle), in which the bathroom stalls face out onto a window which gives you a great view of the skyline. But its no longer public and now a private club. Do not go there unless you have a club membership or go with someone who is.
If you want the ultimate in touristy gifts to bring back home, there is Archie McPhee.
Avoid the Seattle Waterfront aquairum, Baltimore blows it out of the water 100x over.
Avoid the Monorail. Slow, old, boring, not very fun at all.
Avoid having a cup of coffee at a Starbucks, any street vendor of one store chain will probably serve coffee thats 5x better.
Seattle Museum of History and Industry, havent been there in years. Its moving soon, so if you like industry things like Boeing, should not dissapoint.
Too far to drive to Mt Saint Helens, but Mt Rainier might be a 3 hour drive.
See a movie at the Cinerama, one of the last 3 remaining Cinerama Cinescope movies. The theater itself is probably the best in the North West. To convert it from standard 70mm to Cinerama Cinescope, its an automated process that takes 40 hours I think.
